Hello Everyone,

I am new here. I would like to ask something regarding n400 form.

The part of PARENTS INFORMATION. My mom is a permanent resident and my dad is a US citizen.

I want to apply for citizenship and I have a problem with my dad's A# and date when he became a citizen.

He told me that he will not give his A# to me if I wont agree to sell our house. This is a family matter and I wont let him to sell our house since I am the one who's paying the rent and he doesn't treat my mom right.

My problem is, is it okay to send my n400 form without my dad's A# and the date when he became a citizen? Please help me with this. I really want to apply for this since last year and this is the only problem I got with n400 form. Thanks so much for your help!

Just send your N-400 in without his information.   Don't give in to his blackmail.

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it. Btw, Should i leave it blank? I mean the alien number part but still write his name? Or totally not to include him in my form? what if it affect my application and grounds for rejection? My father said i wont be citizen without his alien number or information. This visajourney is my last resort. I have no money to hire a lawyer. And $725 is a bigmoney for a breadwinner like me. Please help guys. I've been wanting to apply since 2016 but this makes me hesitant to apply.

If you have been a green card holder for 5 years, you can naturalize.  It has nothing to do with your father.

Your father has no idea what he is talking about.  You don't need his alien number or information to naturalize.  Provide what information you have.

He has no control over this.  He only has control if you give into his false threats.  Don't fear him.  He has no idea what he is talking about.
