Questions on New I-134 That Expires 11/30/2018

This process has been fairly straight forward for my fiance and I up until this point so, I'm hoping to get some help. And, as us newer filers know, there is a new I-134 form that doesn't match the example on the VJ Site.

As per the instructions, you are supposed to answer all questions and, if a question doesn't apply to you, type "N/A" or "None" if it is a numeric response that is zero. Ok, got that. My question is: Is that for EVERY space that would be blank? For example, under "Sponsor's Mailing Address", since I live in the US I wouldn't fill in the "Province" box. Should I type "N/A"? I only ask this because there will be a lot of "N/A's" on my form on certain pages ("Beneficiary's Children First Name, Middle Name, Last Name" etc., for example) and I'm afraid to do that if that isn't what is required.

Also, regarding Part #3. Question 26.a.: "I have submitted a visa petition to USCIS on behalf of the following persons". Would that be my fiance? This seems redundant as all of her information was entered in Part 2. Or, is this info entered if I have petitioned someone else that isn't her?

I realize that I might be overthinking all of this but, I'm sure that you can relate to wanting to do it correctly. Is there anyone that has used this form and has been approved willing to post a mock up of how they did it? Thanks for your help!!!

Yes, this question on the Affidavit of Support form should be the name of your fiance(e). Since you submitted the I-129F to USCIS.

Write the name of your fiance and the date when the petition was received (the NOA1 date)

EDIT: Also, don't forget to put "intend" on item #38 about whether you intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person. Then for the last page (8 of 8) for item 3a., 3b., 3c., put 4, 3, 38 respectively and for 3d. "N/A (K1 visa process for permanent residency)"

For us, what we did was just put N/A on the Last name portion and left the rest blank. I mean, it basically already implies that everything that follows for that part is N/A already.

Yeah, I found this answer already but thank you! That was a very tricky one, wasn't it? I mean, after you look at it, it makes sense but before...not so much.

Ok, that's what I was thinking as well.

Since we are talking about the new i134 form here, I have my own silly question. What do you put in the financial info part if you are not using assets nor bank accounts, just income? Zero and none would be wrong, because for some of them is just not using them, not that they are non existent.

If anyone already used this new form (and especially if approved already), did you leave it blank or put N/A?

hi

as mentioned above there is a newer form for I-134 and I am on the edge to fill the affidavit of support and I am little confused.

my fiancee the petitioner is unemployed right now and I am asking what to put in the part 3 related to employment information shall we put employed and put the labor department as employer? or what ? and what document shall we attach to I-134 filled by main sponsor as unemployed

if we need a co-sponsor how to answer the line N 38 ? intend or do not intend? since a co-sponsor is going to help us what we shall tick?

please help us we really need those informations

We put N/A because 0 and None would seem incorrect. That's our personal opinion though :) I was told that we could leave it blank but I think a blank can mean a lot of things so better to put a N/A anyway.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
