New I-129F - Empty Spaces

So, the new I-129F says the following in the instructions:

"Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been
married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise
directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many
children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless
otherwise directed."

So, when I open it up to type in the answers, there are certain parts where I'm unclear what to do. For example, where it talks about having an interpreter. We're both native English speakers, so don't need one, so I understand that I'm to fill out all text boxes with N/A. However, when I try, a dialog box pops up that says "Enter numbers only" for zip, or "Enter only letters and numbers." for country. So what do I do? Wait to print it out and then write in all the N/A parts? Or just leave anything that doesn't apply to me blank?

Thank you! Y'all are my favorite people! <3

What we did was we typed in N/A or none or 0 (whichever lets you do that) for the fields that is not applicable to our situation.

For the address, some characters like "#" or "-" could not be typed in, so I wrote it down in black ink when the form was printed.

Try not to leave anything blank as much as possible. :)

Thanks for replying! So for things like Alien Number, since my petitioner doesn't have one, being a native-born USC, they just put 0's in all the fields? Since it's a bunch of single-digit fields instead of one long "put number here."

yes you can put zeros...or write a dash when it gets printed out.

Although I remember leaving that part blank and it didn't cause any issue
