Travelling before advance parole was issued

I'm waiting for my Advance Parole to be ready. If I travel outside of The US before it is issued and when it is, someone brings it to me so I can re enter with it, would there be a problem ?

Did anybody file for an advance parole while waiting adjustment of status this year 2017? How long did it take ? Thanks

There would be a huge problem.  By leaving without AP, you are deemed to have abandoned the AOS process.  Someone bringing you the AP card afterwards can not unring the bell.  That does not undo you leaving without AP.

I agree with JoJo.  Make sure you have the AP card in hand before you leave the US to avoid any future immigration headaches.

The current wait is about 4 months.
