I don't understand why your lawyer was present. They don't even allow spouses in the interview room. Immigration officers don't work with lawyers to "milk some money"  out of applicants. That's a grave charge. I suggest you find out the reason you got denied and reapply. Good luck.

An immigration lawyer can be present during the interview , however it's been almost three weeks and no notice by mail describing the reason of denial .. I'm sure the officer rejected my case for some silly Mickey Mouse excuse... only reason I have doubts about my case is probably the fact that I was once outside the county for 6 months and 10days which I have a valid excluse but the officer never asked why !

The absence of 6 months and 10 days would break your continuity of residence, unless you can provide evidence to the contrary:

https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartD-Chapter3.html

See Section C.1, which includes examples such as:

The applicant did not terminate his or her employment in the United States or obtain employment while abroad.

The applicant’s immediate family remained in the United States.

The applicant retained full access to his or her United States abode.

Did you submit evidence that you did not abandon your residence in the United States? The responsibility is on you to demonstrate that in your application, and if you did not submit any evidence, the interview officer is not obligated to ask you why you were outside the country for so long.

Six months and ten days is a deal breaker to USCIS which shows lack of residency, yes it's ticky tack as only ten days but if the officer was looking for a reason to deny you, there you have it.  As mentioned just re-apply and mention that clearly in your application.  There are many users here with multiple re-applications and successful outcomes :)

Case has already been denied ! The reason it's taking so long to come thro via mail .. I personally think since my lawyer was present at the interview there may be some silly excuse of denial reason so I appeal against their decision and so my lawyer can milk some more $

Out of curiosity, was there a reason you hired a lawyer in the first place? I ask because people usually hire a lawyer in such cases only because they anticipate some potential complications in their case. I guess I am saying that the fact you hired a lawyer suggests that you might be aware that your case isn't as straightforward as you're implying.

That seems like a pretty straight forward reason to deny someone  - and one that surely could have been done before the interview portion?

People don't get denied for ineligibility issues prior to the interview. Denials/RFEs happen during or after interview.

That seems like a HUGE waste of of time for everyone involved! Government employees and applicants.

AS I expected, the denial reason didn't arrive by mail and past the 15 days period. It's impossible to have gotten Lost since two addresses were given. Home and lawyers office.

Just like I received interview notice earlier.

i strongly believe there is a fishy thing going on
