Hello everyone,

I am preparing preparing my AOS package for my spouse. I am reading the instruction for I130. I have a question regarding to I130A. Instruction says:

"If you are filing for your spouse, he or she must complete and sign Form I-130A, Supplemental Information for Spouse Beneficiary."

Did you guys filled out I-130A send it as well? So far all the guides does not mention filing it. Is it only apply for lawful residents?

Thank you.

you have to file it and your spouse has to sign it since this is an AOS case. If it was consular filing you would still have to file it but spouse would not have to sign it. The guides are not updated yet to reflect the new forms.
