Timeline

Does the Rio Embassy send the beneficiary a 3rd packet?  What is the significance of this? Can someone send me a copy?

 

What is the process after the Rio Embassy receives our petition?

 

  • 01/24/17 --- NOA1 date 
  • 05/03/17 --- RFE notification received 
  • 05/10/17 --- RFE response sent
  • 05/12/17 --- RFE response received
  • 05/24/17 --- NOA2 
  • 06/22/17 --- NVC case number received
  • 06/26/17 --- Package received at RDJ embassy
  • 07/18/17 --- Interview (APPROVED!)
  • 08/05/17 --- Arrival to Minneapolis, MN 
  • 09/30/17 --- Married!

The Rio consulate will send the USC an email with directions that the Brazilian partner should follow to schedule the medical, interview, which docs they will need at interview, etc. 

 

you can find the consulates website and they have the same info there.

USC: united stated citizen

 

i do not have a copy of the email anymore but as I said you can find the info on the embassy's website
