I am ready to send my package, at least. Between waiting for affidavit of support and letters from banks, I have lost a lot of time (my date expires on July 20).  But I do not have Tax transcripts from IRS, just the usual papers from the tax preparer, now I am scared if I wait for them, I could be sending my package too late :(

Ruany, Why you need Letters from Banks?

I sent in that paperwork and I did not have a problem at all.

Ruany already has 1040's. We were talking about getting Tax Transcripts :)

But you are right - both will work, 1040's or Tax Transcripts. I sent 1040's with my AOS package. No problem :) Even more - AOS took 15 months and of course I've got RFE for the most recent Tax return. And USCIS specifically requested 1040's along with W2's & 1099's in their RFE letter, not Tax Transcripts.

Oh, no.. you don't have to be..  Ruany was even advised to send the package with what's already in, if Tax Transcripts are not available online or something.. We were just talking that Transcripts are more preferable and Ruany got worried. But as you stated before - 1040"s work too.

Hello. You need them when you are the authorized user of your spouse's credit card (you know that your name does not appear on the statements) and if you are sending those statements, the letter will say since when you became the authorized user.
