Visiting spouse while Marriage Green Card being processed

Hi, 

I and my husband are applying for marriage through green card process this upcoming July. Can I come visit my husband in the US February next year, by applying on my B1/B2 visa during the green card application pending?

You will have extreme difficult time to get a B1/B2 visa while your LPR spouse is in US. You can ofcourse visit US if you get the visa while you are waiting your PD to become current. Keep your native ties strong while you visit US to show them you are going to return to your country otherwise you will have difficult time at POE..

I agree with the others. It'll most likely be futile and end up refused OR he can be turned away at the POE.

Without more information about you and your situation, it's hard to give good advice. Check out the "Yes You Can Visit" threads - legally, yes, it's possible, but it will depend a lot on your ties to your home country and what country it is. Some nations are considered higher risk than others, and we don't know where you're from.

That said, I'm from Canada and I visited the US many times while my CR1 visa was being processed. Good luck!
