I was wondering if someone could give me some sound advice about the I 864. I am self employed, and for the last tax year, my income does meet the guidelines, so thats not a problem. But i have been asked to supply the USCIS with a copy of a W2 or 1099, which is impossible, as i am self employed. has anyone been in this situation before? what should i do?

I'm self employed. Tax returns were fine. They only care that you meet the minimum. I don't believe that extra money wins you any extra points.

It would be a good idea to pay yourself anyway though (W-2). Talk to your accountant.
