Only if the case meets the strict expedite criteria set by USCIS.

OP and anyone else who have a job offer open can do an expedite for the EAD. They just need to show proof of it such as the future employer writing a letter stating they want to hire him/her etc. All need to remember that expedites aren't always granted but that barely happens.

What is required on the job offer letter as well?

Can it be from a hiring manager, or does it need to be official HR letter? I've gotten both, just the casual letter from the manager of the dept who will be hiring me(Not meaning a shift leader of a fast food chain, no offense) but like an actual company executive where it would be him or even a manager below him I would report too or, the actual offer meaning - this salary starting on this date?

Wife has 2 potential offers, both are for big chains, who have large HR departments who may not do the offer letter pre-ead. However they have on site executive managers who make the hire/firing decisions for those local sites who are just waiting on her EAD to come through before they submit her to HR. We just wondered if a letter of intent(I guess would be the wording) or even something worded like offer contingent upon EAD or work permit type letter from someone who could be contacted and confirmed as a hiring decision maker for that site would suffice?
