Processing times clarification

Hello VJ community!

So I submitted my petitions for my finance in February. I recieved the NOA1 February 13th  and I am still patiently waiting for the NOA2. When I check the processing times on the USCIS website, it say the my service center (CSC) is currently processing petitions submitted on December 15th, 2016. I was hoping to get some clarity on what that means exactly. Does that mean they are being processed for final approval and granting of a green card? Or does it just mean they are processing and approving just for the NOA2?  I feel like it's the second one because the CSC can only process the first part correct?

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Morocco
Timeline

The times listed on the USCIS site are processing time for NOA2 in regards to the K1 visa.

They always give a 6 month timeline for NOA2. If your case was filed after 12/15/16 and you have not received NOA2 you are considered to be within 'normal' processing times. For the most part, the average time to NOA2 is considerably less (3-4 months these days), however there are still a small number of filers from December waiting for NOA2. If your case is outside of the timeline given by the CSC (for example, cases filed in November 2016), you are eligible to submit an inquiry online to check on the status of your case. Others have tried calling the CSC but it often leads to nothing productive, as they can only tell you if your case has been touched or not touched. The processing times on the site you linked to are updated around the 15th of each month, so within the next week or 2 the processing times will likely change to around January 15, 2017.

As said before, most are not waiting the full 6 months for NOA2, rather 6 months is the timeline that the CSC sets as a soft deadline for them to process cases. Through this forum we can tell that they are currently focusing on January/February cases, however there are some December and even a very small number of November cases still untouched.

Good to know. I guess I was alittle confused because the records on visajourney show the overall time from submission to interview being roughly 200 days. It said that cases submitted December 13th are being are being approved now. The uscis sites said the same date just for CSC
