Thank you for the excellent post. The information will be quite helpful if we ever get past the Removal of Conditions process.

Jim

I'm hoping the process moves along for you! I know how frustrating it is... :/

Congratulations:dancing:

Can you ask your husband what are the civic questions asked as far as he could remember? Thanks.

Hi Isla Bonita,

I asked him this weekend, but he could only remember two!  :/

He said he knows he was asked the following two:

"Who is the speaker of the House?"

"What is the Supreme Law of the Land?"

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Did you get your oath date.

Yes, he received his Oath Ceremony Letter on Friday, 6/9 and it's scheduled for this coming Monday, June 19th in Chicago. So, pretty quickly after the interview- less than 3 weeks!

Hi. So how long did you have to wait for him to get an interview date? Coz we have a similar situation. I've applied for my wife's citizenship Feb 2017 and we still haven't gotten any notice as to when her interview will be. Fingerprinting is already done too. We're just waiting on an interview date. Thanks and congratulations to you both!

UPDATE:

4853 North Broadway Chicago, IL 60640-3603 UCSIS Application Support Center is CLOSED permanently.

Please warn any of your friends/family members who are planning to go there... It is still coming up in all my searches on the google. Yelp, has reviews about it, and still shows open :( .

I took the time from my work just to get it done with my biometrics earlier, and went to this location. I found an abandoned mall store. My half of the day is gone, and I still do not have my biometrics done. In addition, here is a huge construction underway on Lawrence&Broadway, so just stay away...

There is once support center left in Chicago areas, and it is on Pulaski.

I only got my biometrics done in April and it was at the N. Broadway location.  I didn't realize it had closed in the time since then!   I apologize if I unintentionally led you astray with my feedback that they take walk-ins.  I assumed they were still open. I am so sorry you went through this hassle!!
