Does anyone know where to obtain vaccination records in United Kingdom?  My fiance received his vaccinations through the school as a child.  Should I have him start with the school or is there some other agency that has them?  Here in the states, I would obtain mine through the health department but is there some equivalent in the UK that I should send him to?

I would check with your fiancé's parents first. There's something called a redbook that some parents do have from when their kids... were kids. Most people though go to their GP and request a printout of all history of shots. If your fiancé chooses to get the required shots needed via the GP as well, make sure he keeps proof of that.

I just went to my local NHS doctors office and they printed them out for me

I also did this, they had my vacinations I had in school on it as well.

On looking at the record it turned out I hadn't had the mmr, just individual mumps and rubella shot so it allowed m to get the full mmr series before my visa medical so I didn't have to pay for it or have an incomplete medical which would have required me to see a uscis approved doctor in the states for the aos

Thanks everyone for your replies!  Am I correct that he does not necessarily need to get additional vaccinations to come here as long as he gets them before the adjustment of status?

That is correct but from what I have learned it is much more expensive and a much more difficult process to get them here in the states due to having to find an approved doctor/location to do them.  My fiancé was missing 2 jabs and got them done at his primary doctor in England and then had them print out an updated vaccination record.  That was all he needed for the medical and they were free.  I would have your fiancé ask his general practitioner about giving him the ones that are missing so he can be done with it. :)

Oh wow!  Here in Kentucky they cost like $3 at the health department.  If you need any more, you may check into getting them at the local health department in your state.  Thanks for the info.  I will let him know.

The problem comes with then having to get an updated vaccination form from an approved uscis doctor in the us before the adjustment of status, which can be really expensive as they know they can charge what they like as there are only a couple of doctors in each state allowed to do them and a lot demand you do an additional medical just to get the vaccination fee.

It is so much better to get all your vaccinations sorted in your home country before or at the medical especially in the U.K. where you can get most of the injections for free from the nhs if they haven't been completed already. I didn't have to pay for my mmr as I had never been given it and was missing an inoculation for one of the components (mumps).

I'm not sure of the process for getting them in the states so I don't want to speculate.  Just from what I have read, they have to be documented and signed by a civil surgeon which is a lengthier and more costly process once here.  Someone can correct me if I am wrong on that.  That is just my understanding :)

Oh wow!  Thanks for that information.  I didn't know that.  I will tell him.  You've been a tremendous help!

You are right, there was a bunch of people when I was doing the k1 from the U.K. who baulked at the price of the vaccinations at Knightsbridge (the doctor who does the visa medical in the U.K.) as they were so used to having vaccinations for free on the health service that they decided to have them done on their partners insurance once they got here only to find that when they were doing the adjustment they need a new vaccination sheet due to the one from Knightsbridge being incomplete and that it was going to cost them more than if they had just gotten all their injections at Knightsbridge.  They were not pleased.

Yeah, I would be unhappy too.  This process already has cost so much money that it's ridiculous.  Sometimes I feel like it is all just a big money racket.  It seems like every single piece of paper we have been required to produce has cost a ton of money!

I could imagine!  I have had my fiancé getting anything and everything taken care of while he is still in England.  He was lucky to be able to get the vaccinations done short notice at his GP for free.  I know the cost of healthcare over here and would prefer he handle what he can while he is still there. Haha.  He has a dentist appointment next week and then flies over the following week.  Nothing like jamming it into the last minute. :P
