I am a US Citizen, but my wife is from Yemen.  I heard its easier when the applicants is a female, but not sure if that's true

It's been 6 months already and I am still at the USCIS.  If it takes longer then it will take longer and there is nothing I can do.  But I requested the expedite to make sure I did everything I can.

Nobody knows for certain if an unapproved expedite delays matters, my view is that at most any delay will be minor.
