Hello everybody,

I do have a question about the proof needed for asset which in our case is land.

We filed for a K1 visa and so we need to show the I-134 at consular interview. My fiancé does not meet income requirements cause he is on SSDI but we do meet the requirements with the land he owns.

So what proof is required to show how much the land is worth? He will send a copy of the deed though.

Please help cause we really do not know what to show.

Like a house, or car, it needs to be officially appraised and be able to supply such paperwork to show its actual value.

So that means an official appraisal for land too I guess? For the I-134? I do understand for the I-864 though.

Damn official appraisal is so expensive lol

and assests have to be 5 times the difference (see USCIS site)

Yes thank you, we know that.

So we definitely need an official appraisal? A realtors personal opinion is not enough?
