My wife came to the US to live with me on a K1 visa.  We married, and live in St. Louis MO.  For her adjustment of status, we recieved an RFE. It requested a lot of things (standard I believe) but probably it was because I didnt send them W2's for this year, only pay stubs.  I'm close to the poverty line.  My pay stubs show I earned ~25,000 in 2016. I didn't recieve my W2's before sending.  Now she has recieved a good job with a great salary in another state.  We have a lot on our plate and are a little confused about the best course of action.   I quit my job several days ago.  We are moving in two or three days.  Should we submit the RFE at our current address and explain the situation, and submit the change of address when we move? Or should we move first, submit the change of address, and THEN send in the RFE to the appropriate USCIS offfice?  We also have a strong affidavit of support we will be submitting from my dad that we didn't have in the initial K1 process.  We have about a month and a half before the deadline for the RFE.  Thanks so much for this community, we have learned so much lurking the forums.

If you can respond to the RFE now, I would do it now.  When you do actually move, then file the address change.  If you do not meet the financial requirements for the AOS, then you may need to find a joint sponsor, but others may have more experience with this.

Good Luck!
