I had my interview in Paris but I know from friends and I have a cousin who lived in Algeria and had her interview At the American embassy Algiers where the interview was in Arabic .

but the officers speak french as well so it is up to you .

Yhe only advice that I can give you is to say the truth and do not show them that you are afraid because they do not like people who get nervous . Smile and do not talk too much , only answer the questions .

bring pictures of the wedding with you , pictures with your wife and family , any evidence for the officer to show that you are a real couple , like tickets ( restaurant, movie , trips .... )

i hope this can help , if you need more informations, please ask and i will do my best to hep you .

No problem :)

i just broke my fast so yes, I am having a good time alhamdoulillah .

inshamlah every thing will be okay .

do not forget to prepare your documents translated to English like ( casier judiciaire, birth certificate ...) You will need them . You have specific notary offices that have agreement with the American embassy in Algeria .

This is very important because your wife will need them for the other package that she will have to send to NVC .

Did you give her your nvc number so she could check your case ?

If your wife could visit you , that would help a lot too especially at the interview

Whichever language you feel most comfortable with should be the language you choose. It will be easier to express yourself in a language that makes you most at ease.

you are very right , i talk to my wife oly in english because she dont understand or talk my langauge , im just worried that if i choose the english on the interview that the officer wouldn't or my english would be clear to him as its clear when i talk to my wife  , i guess i'll decide and choose my own language better to be safe
