My fiance is in Dubai and I am in the US, it is really tough but maybe its an opportunity for us to save up more and plan our wedding when he does come here, hopefully the wait won't be too long but as long as we're both on the same page and truly love each other and are willing (and slightly forced) to wait for each other....then that's what we'll have to do.

Day 100 <-- I think this is the new tradition to post this since it is nearly unheard of in the last several years!

John, you said October is just a month away. True, but November is when most here will see NOA2 from the current data. It looks like the VJ algorithm is starting to catch up. Mine slid some more. I still think the VJ algorithm is 10 days too optimistic based upon my data analysis--but is is more real now than it was a month ago!

I pulled some of March data, I found March I-129Fs that are at 182 days--no RFEs, just waiting in "Case Received". So, as much as it is killing us (and I know it is), I would not get hopes up as the data does not support that. It looks like for us, the odds are, the average will remain at about 150 days--some may get 20 days sooner, some may wait over 30 days longer. YMMV

I figured it would slide more. I am still looking at the end of October but I honestly don't expect the NOA2 until late November or early December. The timeline estimate went from September 6 to October 28. It has been pushed back an additional 7 weeks in the 13 weeks since NOA1. It is what it is. All we can do is wait.

100 days in too and the estimated date keeps breaking my heart. Our hope was to have him here by December, but that hope doesn't even seem realistic anymore. I really wanted him to be here for my graduation from grad school and Christmas.

I know it will be worth it when the process is over, but the waiting is killing me. 😭😭

sorry for the pity party. 😳😞

Hey all, I'm on day 103 - will be interested to see if 150 days is even achievable anymore!  My fiancé and I are in no rush, to be honest - he was planning to move in mid-January anyway, which should be achievable even if we get the NOA2 in mid-November (the Auckland embassy is pretty fast).  More time spent apart sucks...but it also means more money saved for when he makes the move.  We've been at this long distance business for nearly 3 years now, so a few more months is nothing compared to what we've already done.  Looking forward to comparing notes with all of you as this process progresses.

Girl, I am right there with you!

I remember the days when my fiancé and I were able to look forward to being together for the holidays. My sister is having a baby in December and my family and I, for a long time, expected to be welcoming two new family members home pretty much around the same time. I really thought he'd be here by December, but it's looking more and more impossible. It constantly feels like taking two steps forward...then being shoved back three. Which is INCREDIBLY frustrating. Sitting on your hands and waiting on someone else to make a move is one of my least favorite things in the world, which is literally what we have to do right now, lol. I'm continuously reassured by others around here, though, that we regain a lot of control once NOA2 is out of the way, which is slightly reassuring. It's just a matter of GETTING an NOA2, thought. :|

Hang in there! I hate when people tell me that, but it's all we can do. Just take it one day at a time and think about the end result, which will make every bit of this so well worth it!! XO

Håll ut, y'all.
