I know how you feel!!  June 2nd here, 186 days now.  They're skipping past both our days.

It may not be because of your background. I'm Canadian, with an uncomplicated case.

Many pages back in this thread, another poster reported being told by an officer at USCIS that there have been personnel changes that caused some delays and although it doesn't make much sense, apparently this caused June 1st and 2nd in particular to be delayed.

In addition, those on the forum who study the data say there is a pattern of days with fewer petitions received, such as June 1st and 2nd, being touched after days with a heavier load of petitions, such as June 5th and 6th.  You could check for posts by @Naes, @The Squirrel, @vocaledge and @Shoegum for more information if you like.

Of course we don't have concrete answers, which makes it so hard. We just have to wait.

But it's good that you're with your fiance for the holidays!   We have parents here who are separated from their children, families waiting months to be together. Some people are delaying their celebrations until they can be united. I will miss this Christmas with my fiance myself.  Let's cross our fingers that they get to our cases soon!  Good luck and best wishes to all :)

thank you so very much ! i think maybe we will try to call the uscis tomorrow morning , or just wait ... if we call . do you have some questions wanted to ask too ? maybe we can do it....want to help a bit like @Naes @The Squirrel @vocaledge

The only international thing ever...

although in japan I scare them and they give me info... I will miss this. It's really easy to crush anything with fast spoken logic in japan... oh yes I will miss the service quality here..

Hi everyone, so I have been silently following up, and today I saw my case number but got a RFE 😢. Who knows how long it takes once you've submitted the evidence to get an approval?!

NOA1 on June 5th

I got an RFE on November 17th and my attorney just mailed the reply today!!

I am hoping my approval doesn't take a long time 😟

Does anyone know if there is are specific times the USCIS and the tracking apps update during the day? and how many times? I feel like I check each of them 50 times a day! Thanks!

They update when you click on the case. One of them has a refresh button on the top right also. So they update immediately!

Anyone want to throw out an estimate for when I could expect to hear anything for  June 26th date?  The wait is killing me.  Im debating buying us tickets to go on a vacation in February or March because I don't want to have to wait a year to see her again..

You waited a year?!? The longest I've gone without being with my fiance is 6mo. That is so hard to go so long without seeing each other 😯

Im hesitating to answer so that I don’t depress either of us, but I’m a June 23rd flier and right now I’m thinking that I’ll be lucky to get approved before Christmas. I’m hoping they really dig into June this week and brighten our hopes to get into our dates by the end of next week. That said, even when they start touching our days, the approvals get spread out over 10-12 days....soooooooo

By the time I am estimating my Brazilian fiance gets here, it will be just shy of year that we've seen each other. Airplane tickets are just so darn expensive.

Wow... :( I feel you. But it's just sooooo hard. :(

The most that I've paid for a plane ticket to see him is $1000.
