Hi everyone, so I have been silently following up, and today I saw my case number but got a RFE 😢. Who knows how long it takes once you've submitted the evidence to get an approval?!

No worries. Click on this name here@Shoegum, go to on any of his comments (on your computer not on your phone), and below it you will see bunch of different items. Look for "RFE", click on it and you will see the list of May petitioners that got RFE's. You will see some that are done already and some that are still pending with all of the dates. Current time for approval of an RFE is anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks, from the day that they receive your RFE reply. Please don't worry, just hurry up get it done and congratulations!

someone knows the reason why they jump my number is 7989 and they went from 7988 to 8010 thank you very much good luck for all

Because there's no real rule on which file gets first.

•someone else may have your case than the adjudicator who's doing these.

•your case might have taken longer time to background check

•your case maybe in a different pile

•every case is different

•or maybe yours is being adjudicated now.

Don't be, not yet anyways. Things doesn't flow with an order that we are aware of. But there must be an order somehow.

OMG, im 8639 ,june 1st , they forgot our case ? ....

is that because of my background ? i am Chinese but study in France....so need such a long time to check my background ?

actually i am already in california for visiting my fiancé  ....but feel so anxious .....

what you guys doing now ?

wish all of us lucky ,happy and have a nice day or night !

I'm appreciative of your kindness that help us and courage us !

i hope  we could  have a big party next year in US  after we all get together with our husband/wife ! want to meet you guys in real ! you guys are so awesome ! I'm so lucky !

I know how you feel!!  June 2nd here, 186 days now.  They're skipping past both our days.

It may not be because of your background. I'm Canadian, with an uncomplicated case.

Many pages back in this thread, another poster reported being told by an officer at USCIS that there have been personnel changes that caused some delays and although it doesn't make much sense, apparently this caused June 1st and 2nd in particular to be delayed.

In addition, those on the forum who study the data say there is a pattern of days with fewer petitions received, such as June 1st and 2nd, being touched after days with a heavier load of petitions, such as June 5th and 6th.  You could check for posts by @Naes, @The Squirrel, @vocaledge and @Shoegum for more information if you like.

Of course we don't have concrete answers, which makes it so hard. We just have to wait.

But it's good that you're with your fiance for the holidays!   We have parents here who are separated from their children, families waiting months to be together. Some people are delaying their celebrations until they can be united. I will miss this Christmas with my fiance myself.  Let's cross our fingers that they get to our cases soon!  Good luck and best wishes to all :)
