For some reason, I am locked out of the USCIS website, I believe because of the maintenance update. Is anyone else able to login or are they receiving the same lockout message. It is different then the IP address lock out, this one says too many attempts to login lock out, which doesn’t apply to me because it was my first time logging in.

mine works fine. I'm sure it will work shortly for you also.

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

Good morning all!

Day 182 for us today, so I'm hoping for a marvelous week!

Had a lovely long Skype call with Mr Fiance yesterday - hung up at 2.30am. Got up for work at 6.45am. Oh the things we do for love! My colleagues think I'm crazy, but I know you guys understand! :)

@John & Rose You've been posting about putting in the "outside of normal processing time" request by 183 days. Since I'll be at 183 days tomorrow, can I put in the request on Wednesday? We already put one in with the September glitch, so I'm wondering whether it's a smart move to put another one in.

Side note to that: I'm not making my fiance call USCIS just yet. He's not up to date on all the Tier 1 and 2 troubles that I keep reading on here. I'm not sure if calling helps anyway.

Edit: @AZSunshine78 log in works fine for me as well!

If it’s the same problem I have experienced 5 times already, you need to reset password and it’ll work again.

I just found out that there is a possibility that they will only care about the date on the website. Even after 6 months has passed they may not allow the inquiry if the processing date on the website is still prior to your received date. I’m not sure if that is true but I am going to submit an inquiry on Wednesday to see what happens.

It it is a new week so best of luck to all of us!

Thank you! And yes, same here - all my fiancé did was listen to me go on and on over FaceTime a couple of times while I put the packet together that I cultivated myself, lol. I told him where to sign and he had to mail me some papers on his end, but that was it. I'm definitely freaking out more than he is; maybe it's because I'm the one that put the packet together independently, so I'm worrying that I screwed it up for both of us. Similar to @Catseal - I am a bit of a  control freak myself. There was no question as to whether or not I would be the one pulling everything together that we needed. I think my fiancé even knew to let that one go without much fight. Even if we had used a third party processor, I think I would have still worried if they did it right themselves, lmao.

I quite remember what you said before....

Cheers to the control freaks! @Naes @Catseal

Congratulations, @Paul & Mallory.  We can congratulate ourselves for filing our applications on our own!

Well, I haven't been on here in a few days. So much so that I'm not sure I'll ever get caught up on all the pages of convo that I'm behind on now. :P

Anyway - both my fiancé and I have had some stuff going on that's made things tough lately, and it was hard to focus on how slowly things have been dragging for us all with this part of the process. The holidays are tough this year due to some recent losses within my family and social circle this year, so I've been relatively blue for a little bit lately. BUT.............

Saturday morning, we got the biggest surprise ever. WE'RE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

Paul actually found out before me and called me. I expected to be the one to tell him. :P He has the Case Tracker app on his phone, which notified him immediately; we were approved on the 1st and the app notified him Saturday morning (the 2nd). I never got my email or text notification, which I sent the form for, so I recommend downloading the app if you haven't already.

I almost wish our convo had been recorded, because it went a little something like this.... *clears throat dramatically*:

*my phone rings early Saturday morning before I've finished my coffee*

Me: Hey...

Paul: (before I've finished my greeting) BABE. BABE!!! MALLORY!!!

Me: *jumps from couch in a panic because he sounds freaked out, nearly spills aforementioned coffee* WHAT?? What happened??

Paul: WE GOT APPROVED!!!!

Me: .......................

Paul: Hello?

Me: That's not funny.

Paul: I'm serious!

Me: ........... *looking for coffee*

Paul: *groans* HANG ON.

Me: ............

Paul: ............

Me: *receives text message with screenshot of the Case Tracker app* OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD.

Paul: SEE.

Me: ..........

Paul: What???

Me: Are we sure that's our receipt number? What if you put the wrong one and this is someone else getting approved.

Paul: ............. hold on.

Me: *digs around for our NOA1 hard copy* We need to match the numbers. *reads off number on the NOA1*

Paul: IT MATCHES.

Me ........ Look it up online.

Paul: Babe.

Me: DO IT.

Paul: *logs into USCIS website and enters receipt number manually*

Me: *receives screenshot of his computer screen saying we have been approved* OH MY GOD WE'RE APPROVED. *immediately bursts into tears*

;):jest:

Yay! Congratulations!
