Even if my case arrives tomorrow I will still pursue this further, for the benefit of future citizens and immigrants. Even if no change will happen from my one-man mission I promise you I will try.

From my experience if the USCIS were just plain old honest and admit "Hey were backlogged, understaffed, unorganized, bla, bla, bla, but trying to as fast we can" instead of reading from a script or spouting B.S. to the filers. I think there would be a lot less angry and stressed filers.

 

I deal with Customers in the IT filed everyday and I find the best way to handle a situation where a service or product is not going to be delivered on time is NOT to make some B.S. excuse, but be plain old honest about the slowdown. Because of that my customers have more respect for me and I have almost zero angry customers.

 

Just my two cents..

Means a petitioner wanted to withdraw their petition and the USCIS recognized it and withdrew the petition and sent them a notice.

Really, that kinda sucks..... after having waited far so long... I know this wait thing does test your relationship with your significant other to a point... but people need to remember what they started this whole process in the first place. Well who knows maybe they are gonna try a different route so I do hope the best for everyone here

I know on thing for sure, being with your partner for this wait. definitely help with the wait. When we are together time seems to go much faster. Right now I wish I could just drop everything and go stay with him until the NVC sends over our case but sadly I cant do that cause it would mean quitting my job.

For sure it helps if you can spend some time with your fiance during this process. We can't physically be together as much as we would like, but we have Skype running 24/7, which really helps.

Not so much Skype (I found the connection is always SUPER laggy), but we call and message via WhatsApp every day. I video call him when I'm super quiet at work, we talk on Xbox and have games we play together along with some hilarious guys from Puerto Rico, living in FL and a guy from Chicago. That definitely helps the time go quicker and takes the tension off this agonising wait. We all talk of road trips to all hang out and get Chick Fil A. 

All that way for some damn chicken. But... Their honey mustard is SO good. 

Yeah, making all these plans certainly helps.
