Last time I posted in this group the purpose of God why USCIS delayed the approval of petition. I also told that my fiance and I didn't make it.

Sorry, I was wrong! I thought he left me for life. My husband-to-be (asawa) said, he believes that we are already married in God's eyes. What we have to do is to legalize it through the help of K1 visa. He said, he cannot smack God for another divorce after all the prayers and signs we asked. God measured our faith and perseverance.

I am thanking Our Heavenly Father coz finally after six months!!!!!!  WE ARE APPROVED!

June approvals are trickling in....here's hoping the trickle soon becomes a flood.

Every one makes the rest of us jealous :P but also gives us hope.  Congratulations and may the rest of your process go smoothly!!!  :)

is there a higher chance when you use a lawyer to file your case? or it is the same thing when you file it yourself?. I think the lawyer has the knowledge whether your case will be approve or will need more evidence right?

because I hired a lawyer on my case :D

Hmmm.. I’m interested in knowing as well.

would you mind updating us in your case if it moves any faster compared to the others who file it themselves?

thank you. ^_^

Nope.

the differences it can make:

if if it's a good lawyer, you may not get rfe.

if it's a bad lawyer he/she will take a lot of your money... and you'll be cursing like some of the May filers are cursing at them right now...

some people say it was good they used it, but time wise I never saw any lawyer making anything any faster than it was already going to happen..

That means he is a good lawyer. Hopefully there won't be any rfes (which could make the thing take longer but not everybody gets them anyway) and it will be in time, and you won't waste extra 😊

But no overall in this process they don't make things go faster than it supposed to be!

but I always wish everyone to go as fast as can be!!

You already know your answer if you have had personal success stories with this lawyer.

Lawyers are people too, some good and some bad. The best lawyer is one who has a contact on the inside of USCIS but those are hard to come by and not ones you find on advertisements on this or other sites.

Personally, I think rapidvisa is a better option compared to a standard lawyer unless your case is complex. I did not use rapidvisa but considering most of this is administrative type of work a company like rapidvisa may even be better than a lawyer given their experience.

Lawyers are very expensive also compared to a service like rapidvisa and lawyers tend to not communicate very well.

I considered doing the rapidvisa. but they have the same fee as my lawyer :jest:

he worked all our cases in the family so I got discount on this,.

RFEs might be good for us.  That way we know they touched our file and it sits in a new pile while we answer.  If we answer to their satisfaction they approve it right away.  I'd rather know someone looked at it rather than wondering if they lost it!  RFEs dont have to add a lot of time.  I believe most are answered within a week of a satisfactory response.
