There were 10 approvals for June 6 filers. Just about 200 to go!!!  I guess it is more like a drizzle.

I just looked over May, they had 25 cases touched mid-day, and we had 26 total, 3 of which are name updates. So total for both months is measly 51 cases touched, or 48 if we consider name updates meaningless (although that may be name update followed by immediate approval, not sure).

 

Anyway, to look at the bright side, for the first time ever, June had more touches in a single day than May ! I wish it was in hundreds, but I'll take it either way. Congrats all, we are on our way.  

It is coming.  Hopefully the afternoon will help a little.  There were 10 approvals and no RFEs for June 6 filers (via Case Tracker).  That is one of the best days for June 6 filers so far.  Hey, we have to take what we can get.  10 is better than 9!

Best of luck to everyone and please be careful about deposits for weddings and receptions.  Don't add that deadline stress to your lives.  We have decided for a justice of the peace wedding and a big reception after we get settled.  That way we have time to plan and be able to do it in a relaxed and confident way.

 

Let those NOA2 start to rain...It is 7:14 am in California and the adjudicators are awake, drinking coffee and getting ready for a huge day!

I agree 100%. We haven't plan for our wedding too. We don't want to be negative but anything could happen. Especially that I (beneficiary) have 2 girls to consider,  their school in Philippines and the medical thing (one of my girls has eczema) and that could be one of the reasons for delay.

 

I know that we are all excited for the big event and just like @John&Rose said "please be careful about deposits". Good vibes to all.

Don’t feel that way. No, they didn’t really rock it today but they did approve some petitions. Every petition approved is one closer to yours. We are right on the edge now. You made it through 5 months. What is another day or two?  This is happening. Relax and know that each second that passes is one second closer to your loved one!

Since everyone's throwing around wedding plans, here are ours...

 

We're going to have a quick civil ceremony as soon as we can, so we can start AOS as soon as possible (family friend is a judge in the county I live in, so that helps!).  Then, we're having a reception the end of March with 50 or so of my friends and family at a local restaurant - had a tasting this week and everything was amaaaaazing, so I'm looking forward to it!  We're planning on having a formal ceremony in January 2019 in New Zealand, with all his friends and family plus a few of mine in attendance  hoping to book our venue soon, he's going to do some scouting over Christmas - we've got our hearts set on one right next to the beach!
