This is not the time for lack of patience.  It is so close.  Now is the time to start thinking about getting the DS-160 together and getting ready for the Big Wait Volume 2 (which is considerably shorter!)

With our luck, I doubt it would be shorter. lol

I'm giving our NVC number a full 2 months considering everything going on in May.

 

I wonder if the NVC happens faster in the Canadian Embassy since we are so close to them.

I started the DS-160 a few weeks ago...I've been working ahead. Which isn't good since we will have to wait for the NVC number and such. Being a planner is a blessing and a curse.

No, please not two months!!!! I am really hoping NVC and the rest of the process will happen faster in Canada since not only we're closer, the number of applications are much less too. But then again, maybe there's less people working in the embassy here so we may still be facing the same gloomy predicament.

Start getting everything together for it now. You can’t file it yet but you can get into a position to file as soon as you receive the number from NVC.

 

Get the police certificates together and anything else you may need for the interview.

I was so hoping to hear something today.  I want off this roller coaster so bad!!  @The Squirrel...I could really use one of your prognostications!  I don't even care if it's wrong!

We submitting my police certificate with the K1 visa application. 

I will have to get another one?

 

Also, our lawyer never asked him for his tax returns.
