Dear @Naes :idea:

As I was typing the post above, I thought of something, so I have to ask "the machine" :lol: or "the supplier" :lol: if anyhow possible to make these numbers cute, and easier to understand, kind of at the first glance. Soooo .. I'm asking for a graph if you would be so kind :blush:, I think it tells the whole story. This is the base of the graph, the weeks

1st week  - 102 cases left

2nd week - 135 cases left

3rd week  - 270 cases left

4th week   - 515 cases left

The Hump- 383 cases left

1st week  - 825 cases left

2nd week - 775 cases to go

3rd week  - 836 cases to go

Last week - 763 cases to go

but not by those numbers, but rather averages per day per week, because of Hump week, with 4 days. So the graph by daily Virgins would be:

1st week  - 20.4 virgins per day

2nd week - 27 virgins per day

3rd week  - 54 virgins per day

4th week   - 103 virgins per day

The Hump- 95.75 virgins per day

1st week  - 165 virgins per day

2nd week - 155 virgins per day

3rd week  - 167.2 virgins per day

Last week - 152.6 virgins per day

So there will be flat line for first 2 weeks, than slight rise, then the high spike, kind of like a steep cliff crumbling into a sinkhole of approvals. I think that way everybody can see when their week is stepping up to the edge, when it will be worked on. Than they can look into the days of their own week to figure when their day will fall into abyss, and this wait never to come back .... (ooo I'm inspired tonight :lol:)

Here again all credits go to "The Big 3" !

NOTE: I only have May numbers from last night @Naes, and midday scan from @Shoegum, so numbers can only be better.

To ease you into this, we are looking good :D. So far 5 of 22 days in June have been touched. May weeks are dwindling, almost done, there is no more room for adjudicators to hide, but to go June. Here go the weeks first, as they are most important:

1st week  - 102 cases left

2nd week - 135 cases left

3rd week  - 270 cases left

4th week   - 515 cases left

The Hump- 383 cases left

1st week  - 825 cases left

2nd week - 775 cases to go

3rd week  - 836 cases to go

Last week - 763 cases to go

May 30th with  216

May 31st with   39

June  1st with   27

June 2nd with  101

------------------------------

Week Total :     383

May 30th now looks big pedestrian with 216 cases, but keep in mind that 2 weeks ago it had 422 cases, so it is almost half done at 48.8% (it is over 50% at this point we just didn't get the scan). Next 2 days are a joke with 66 cases combined, and the last day in that week is at the magic line, about to dip into double digits. With 3 days to go, June 2nd should be at about 65-75 mark on Friday, and done completely by mid next week. Today June 2nd had 4 approvals and 5 RFE's, so rest of the way this week should be all approvals.

And next is the first full week of June that is melting before our eyes B-). Big show on what is to come! It still counts relatively high, robust 825 cases, of total 975 it had 7 working days ago.  Days are as follows:

June 5th  -  149

June 6th  -   229

June 7th  -   116 (untouched)

June 8th  -   184

June 9th  -   147 (untouched)

---------------------------

Total  -  825  cases untouched

Here you have a totally different landscape than 10 days ago, Monday the 5th has gone from 2nd highest day in two months combined, all the way down to 12th highest day of 44 days total. Now that my friends is a freefall ! And than today, that same day gets answered loud and clear - 10 cases touched, all 10 cases RFE's. Following is as per the established pattern, a bonanza of approvals. Sooooo....

@DuaneAnna

@tifmiklos

@Hadassah123

@GarryAndMarie

@Allen&Ann

@britishandusa

@Ivan D

@Nefertari

@viNs

@IshTre

......... if you guys survived today without the RFE, you should be at the exit door, with tears in your eyes, saying goodbye to this semi sane family you made here, thanks to your journey. Some will go before others, first ones celebrate hard, ones that have to wait another day or few just cool and graceful, it's real and it is here, about to be you.

June 8th thoroughly surprised me, I thought Thursday, but I thought June 7th would go Wednesday. So I may get ladder one to be a go, but now I'm thinking one group will do 7th and 8th, and other will start 9th and 12th Thursday with RFE's, Friday with approvals, and following week - bonanza !

While I throughly appreciate your posts, I'm also very confused.

What are are your thoughts about June 5th as there are not many cases left.

im a June 5th but have heard nada so considering I've got an rfe but I don't understand the statistics behind the probability of this.

thank you

@The Squirrel

I checked but didn't catch a difference in numbers for June.

If you can find it please lead me to it (is it on the case received or something?)

I'll update those tonight after June midnight scan.

@The Squirrel

After trying different graphs, I didn't get the concept of why you want the weeks on average per day?

If you can explain to me what you want to achieve I'm going to try and figure it out.

About the numbers being different with vocaledge, because he is using the received date, if an already updated case received approval I use the updated dates, so some numbers are different in mine because they are already in updated (touched) pile.

This is after today's scan

Overall June Case Received with Dates

06/01/17 29
06/02/17 103
06/05/17 149
06/06/17 228
06/07/17 116
06/08/17 185
06/09/17 147
06/12/17 285
06/13/17 109
06/14/17 88
06/15/17 166
06/16/17 127
06/19/17 280
06/20/17 150
06/21/17 67
06/22/17 172
06/23/17 169
06/26/17 234
06/27/17 166
06/28/17 75
06/29/17 127
06/30/17 166
Total 3338

On another note, there were around 38 activity in April, again none is case received.

Oh and because I'm crazy, you should also know there are March cases in same situation.

As long as the focus moves, the received cases here won't mean much, cause not updating the system is obviously not a new thing.

Hence I read the adjudicator's handbook and it does say, manual approval only is also ok.

Hey all! Quick question to the statisticians what are working so tirelessly on these scans (a huge thank you btw). I have a degree in biochemistry, so I understand stats as it applies to the medical field,  but I have to admit I’m getting a little lost on some of the numbers posted here. My question is simple: what is the mean number of cases approved and/or touched per work day? Feel free to include the σ if you’re so inclined. The numbers I’ve seen seems to show that they are only approving 20-25 cases/day. I understand that there are many variable and several cannot be quantified through the scans and you all do a great job defining those throughout your posts. I was pretty confident at the beginning of the month that they’d be very deep into June by the end of the month, but that doesn’t seem to be coming to fruition.

Sorry if this his question is redundant, just want to verify what I’m seeing in your numbers. Thank you again for being so diligent and dedicated to the process. You’ve really helped ease the anxiety that comes with the uncertainty of our situation. If you ever need any help, let me know and I’ll be happy to contribute. Fingers crossed to all that are waiting for approvals this week. I’m a June 23 and already accepted this week is a wash and next week is looking very unlikely. I hate how my VJ timeline moved back every time I check it. Lol I’ve stop looking to avoid the bad news.
