Hey John your fiancée also tried to apply tourist visa?

Well i tried also last January 2017 i was denied too even i got regular job in the philippines and 1 daughter... Anyway i am always praying and hoping it will not be a cause of fiancée visa denial ( im really nervous ) because the CO MANILA is the one advice me to apply for a K1 visa ( coz he notice my fiancé will be my sponsor in that planned trip ) I am july filers by the way and my fiancée name also Jon

Yes, she was denied.  No reason to worry at all.  Tourist visas are so rare from the Philippines that apply and being denied will have no impact on the K-1 at all.  Don't even think twice about that.  One has nothing to do with the other.  A tourist visa they expect you to leave the US for the Philippines.  A K-1 they expect you to stay in the US until you get a green card.  They are not even slightly related and one will not effect the other at all.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

You can do the CFO before you get your visa. I would do ahead and get that out of the way.

Airbnb a condo in BGC--it does not even feel like Manila.

No dirty bay to look at (yeah, I like Hotel H2O OK), but it is a great area!

I agree 100%. Tillie and I always stay in BGC when I'm in town. It's like a smaller version of Singapore. It's upscale, very clean, lots of nice shops, restaurants and bars. They have their own marshalls who are very strict with traffic rules - people actually obey traffic rules in that area. The only public transportation allowed in BGC are taxis and the BGC Bus. You can walk around there in the middle of the night feeling really safe. Tillie's office is in BGC too.

I agree with John. This administration is intentionally slowing the immigration process. Even in the H1B Visa program there are many RFEs being issued for no reason. Likewise in the K-1 Visa process, people are receiving RFEs for things they have already sent. Many of the lawyers that have handled those for years are frustrated by the process. Here are some interesting articles:

http://www.wsmimmigration.com/immigration-law-insights/2017/wall-street-journal-trump-administration-challenging-h-1b-visas/

https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-administration-tightens-scrutiny-of-skilled-worker-visa-applicants-1511114338

Hopefully they will kill the H1B visas all together. American Workers First!

Wow... housewife coming in!

Not sure what you mean. I-129F and I-130 marriage visas have NOTHING to do with H1B work visas. H1B is a way for tech companies to use low wage workers. Recipients of marriage/fiance visas can go to work almost immediately.   But anyway ... yeah I make plenty of $$ so there's no need for my fiancee' to work. Our kids are high maintenance and hopefully we can have 3-4 more. LOL.
