Airports don't do too much for me and I've seen my fair share outside the US.  If you are going to site see, then I'm with you. But when I go MNL I'm a man on a mission, I just want to get there quick and hassle free. I was tempted to go through ICN once just because it is such an awesome airport--which proves your point--some airports might be worth seeing!

Sure thing! I hope everything will go faster and smoother from now on, but I'll try to keep yo updated with anything I find out. I did start collecting certain documents for the interview, including photos and police report (it's good for a whole year, so why not get it ahead).

ICN is another fav!  New, modern and friendly!  I went through ICN on the last trip (September).

I have Rose and 2 kids who have never flown or been out of the Philippines before.  I am considering doing the same for them.  Maybe through Hawaii so we have a little time to sight see.  I'm not sure where the best POE would be.  I am also worried that they won't like flying so adding to the already 14 flight to Chicago might not be a good idea.

January? That is optimistic.

 

If we get approved this week, NVC is running about 6 weeks, then 45 days for MNL interview, then 5 days for Visa, then make arrangements--March is a definite possibility.

 We have the same NOA1 date. Larger numbers have gotten approved ahead of both of ours. Who knows maybe we are in the same pile--- Stay positive. There are people from mid May who haven't heard a peep. Our time is coming

We have interview scheduled already for dec 28th she is doing cfo on 13th and medical on 14 n 15 so if all goes well we should fly back usa around 15 of jan

I did the reverse timeline late last week.  I didn't like what I saw!  It is March or April for POE IF everything goes well!  I still have been going back and forth on the kids school.  I'm guessing it will be a no brainer.  My main goal now is Aira's med before her January 12th birthday.  She turns 15 and the price of medical goes up 9000 php.
