Ahhh! Been refreshing like crazy. 1861 and 1862 (us) are still received but 5 before and after have all been updated. Either today or last week. We're just sitting in the middle there.  I'm soooo hoping we're in the same box. And hoping it's not an RFE.... but even if we do get one - I'd still be happy they touched our case! 

 

Looking forward to the scan from today to see how hard they're working!

Ahhhhh - I have absolutely no idea.

I just know that by the time I am through customs, I am able to pick her up right away from what they described as 'animal customs'...

Hello everyone.  My fiancé already posted the good news earlier today that we received NOA2!  She awoke during the night in Russia to go to the restroom and just happened to check the USCIS app.  The approval was there!  It was dated 11/24/17 but we did not receive it until today. Also, I received the official email today as well.  Our NOA1 date was 6/5/17, so 172 days according to my calculation.  175 days as of today.

Word of advice: be patient, pray (if you like), and keep dreaming about the day it comes true for you and your fiancé.  

Next step to make that appointment at the embassy in Moscow!

Congrats all junies that have been approved today! I’m so happy for you! 

 

Needed to come on here as feeling really low today! Last day with my fiancé and I go back to UK and was really hoping I’d get the approval whilst I was here! Wishful thinking I know considering I’m a June 30th received date!

 

why does it have to be so hard! Really don’t want to go back!

Now it gets hard as one watches dozens of later submissions (numbers larger than there own) get approved. :(

I hear that.  It is virtually impossible to get a tourist visa from the Philippines.  That is why I'm about to make my 5th trip in a year there.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I agree. even apps getting RFE... just give me SOMETHING... I mean. I don't want an RFE but at least it would be a step towards the end goal .. ive been doing pretty well up until now because the witnessing of others' notifications does drive one a little mad..... almost like... waiting to get picked for dodgeball teams in elementary school..... I was picked last once. it was horrible. an I was a feisty little girl ( they just didn't know it)
