Praying you don’t get RFE. But I would have it ready just in case. I did the same. I visited in 4th of July and end of November we went to Hong Kong. I made copies of everything. And ofcourse she has all the originals except for the boarding passes for when I came home.

Thank you very much. I do have everything ready too, I was just concerned about the dates since they talk about "last 2 years" so it might be 2 years before filing the petition..In our case I went to the US and we stayed in New Orleans.. So also don't know if traveling in the US (for me the beneficiary) while pending visa process is something good to show.. We will see..

Hope things will be smooth for you too ! ;)

Thank you!

Exactly why I thought june was going to start around day 160! Did you also have that "Poor April filers" feeling... it is so inconsistent it's ridiculous!

It is getting better and hope worth the June data we will se the improvement! (Well otherwise Daniel.. we are the ones who'll get real s**tty experience 😊😂😂)

Exactly, April has a higher deviation, which translates in a more unfair situation for their filers because the length of time for them to get approved is, as you say, less consistent.

There's no other option, it has to improve! :D

Naes, do you think that 5th June will hear something tomorrow?

Will hear? yes.

will it be all of June 5? No

there can be lots of rfes too cause they come out early in the game.

but yes most of 5th should be handled next week.

in order to be able to compare them let's give them the same amount of time. From the last day that May received cases (05/31/17) up to the day of the last scan (11/20/17), a number of 173 days passed. Since the last day of April to receive cases was 04/28/17, for this month I only considered cases approved within the next 173 days (up to 10/18/17), just like May.

Awesome ! I hope not to be on the waiting side come December 20th, but I did put a reminder in my calendar to come and see how it all went down with my month included.

Just a question, since @Naes managed to dig up some "weirdoes" as she calls them , did you include those? I believe it was 50+ cases that in November got entered back as approved for middle of September, which falls into your 173 days. Or they were RFE's, I'm not sure anymore ?

Anyway .... great job !

We did talk about the weirdos, and they (and nonupdated ones also) does not effect the curve. Because other than some April weirdos they are inside the curve (the amount may differ but the main sample is bigger) April weirdos are in the file that I sent him as their initial dates updated.

Dammm not being able to use the right terms are killing me!! I need to study these terms in English actually if I want to ever get a job in US... maybe I should get another toefl...

edit: I should add though my main job now is forecasting and trending doesn't always include these because it's future related estimation rather than using past info I use market info which is more of a present daily info. And I didn't touch these prediction and estimation (I guess these are the right words) since I graduated like 5 years ago at least! So Daniel would have better info as he also explained to me :)

If you didn't stay longer than your allowed time, then why not show it? In it shows you were here and din't try to cheat the system because you went back. I guess it would be all about how they look at it. But your lucky, Oh how I wish My fiance could come visit me in the USA while we are waiting. But Everything you have even if it is before 2 years wouldn't hurt. think the only requirement is that you've seen each other at least once in the last 2 years. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

But for me and my Kids, we are praying harder than ever that their soon to be step mother and sisters will be approved this week.

Yep, Naes and I talked about that somewhere back in this same thread, I believe. To sum up, in my opinion the non updated (hence non included cases) "behave" in a very similar way than the majority, which is why their absence probably don't affect much the results. As for the weirdoes, even if they didn't follow the same pattern than that majority I'm pretty sure they wouldn't significantly affect the results, we are talking about like 50 cases out of 1400.

In any case, if @Naes wants to take those weirdoes cases out of the April file, I could run my scripts again and see what happens. We are working under a lot of assumptions here, so of course I might be mistaken!

As for the non updated ones, there's nothing we can do about it, but I really am not worried about them.

"Assumptions" is our family name in VJ 😂😂😂

if i I see a lot more of weirdos happening it can mean something. But because we cleared all of April, I don't think it will affect much.

@The Squirrel

and the silent noa2 cases won't affect anything in a bad way if not in a good way of jumping maybe a 5% (cause only a little part of that maintenance day could actually show an affect with most likely having 150s unupdated) would only affect a day or two toward a good way of the review and that wouldn't much affect the result as long as we don't see it getting worse in the future.

I saw a girl on Instagram from the UK (same as my fiance) whose application was sent in mid June and her case was accepted in late September. And her flight is booked and everything and she's moving here shortly. Whaaat?!

We got our NOA1 June 20 and still nothing yet. No word. Makes me wonder if I should be worried? I've been struggling with feeling bummed out a lot lately since it seems like it's dragging on. Watching the estimate go from September to October, November, December... Every week that passes it jumps out a week. Makes it feel like it's not moving forward. It has been even harder than I imagined it would be. But it looks like most people are waiting still so it's not just us? Sorry for like rambling, I was just so shocked! Hoping we didn't do something horribly wrong to make it take so long just to hear something... Anything. She is so lucky! Jeez!

The only thing to say:

nope you shouldn't be worried.

everyone here is in the same boat.

And there was only 9 or less actually cases approved from June in total before they started last week. So 99.9 that's an expedite.

Thanks. That makes me feel better.
