OK cool. But please what are you trying to say? I am confused. They didn't try to expedite at USCIS, but did so at NVC? They had no clue they got approved, how in the world can they ask for expedite at NVC? So they got a NOA2 in 130 days or so (148 was to the letter yesterday)? If you expedite than there is no DS-160 needed? He did it without her knowing? What is your point?

How else would they get Packet 3 from the embassy if not through NVC. They need Ds-160, it is stated in Packet 3.

What I’m trying to say is that anyone can expedite through NVC with a valid reason. NVC is a different agency. Even if you go through USCIS expedite or normal process, you have to manually call or email NVC if you want an expedite. Does that answer your question?

When you expedite in the NVC the package that normally goes to beneficiary, instead goes to petitioner.

however as above post they didn't expedite anything...

ok so let's wait...not like we can do anything but go crazy and wait

Naes please slow down and read, you are showing symptoms "129-F overload"  :lol::lol:

Again - if they did not receive NOA2, hence did not know they were approved, how can they ask for NVC expedite?

No, it does not. I asked it once, I just wrote it above for Naes, and here it is again, please read:

You have to ask the person who wrote that Facebook post. How did she receive Packet 3 with a received date of June 26th?

I was just giving an opinion about the Packet 3, I said it is possible she had an NVC expedite but it was answered by @NICK & PAULA

You can’t receive Packet 3 unless the embassy already received her application from NVC.

I know that's why I'm confused but that (NVC expedite) would be the only explanation but it's not. Was  the confusion...

ok I believe we are actually talking about the same thing but we are just all confused..

I don't have to do anything, but unfortunately sit here (just like you) and hope and pray for our NOA2 :(.

Doesn't matter really but it was not possible to have an NVC expedite without ever knowing you have been approved. It is like applying for college, and before you get accepted, you start scheduling classes and pick a major :lol::lol::lol:

Congratulations !!!

I had to go back to read your old posts, jut to make sure I remember everything right. You got an RFE due to a photo that you already submitted. Please can you tell us what were the grounds for your "expedite"? Honestly, to me this RFE seems like "oh yeah wise a@@, think you are better?" So they politely made you wait as long as you would have without expediting your case.

Thank you!!

My fiance is an active duty.He is a submarine officer.  And yep! They asked for 2x2. At first I thought my picture is not standard, my fiance though just sent the same photos, and now after a almost a month we got approved!! I was sad about the RFE, I mean we got expedited for a reason, yet they dont seem to care and found a way to slow our process. (I hope it is not the real case). But I am never gonna go back to this process again, it is done and I have moved on! Cheers to everyone!

If you check @NICK & PAULA‘s post again, the Facebook user said she received her packet 3 from USCIS. Packet 3 is not from USCIS but from the US embassy in the Philippines.  I think the poster is confused between NOA2 and Packet 3.

Again, I was giving my opinion when she stated that she received her Packet 3 not NOA2.

And by the way, Packet 3 is sent to the petitioner in our part of the country. DS-160 is  a form to be filled by the beneficiary when she receives the instructions stated in the Packet 3 sent by the US EMBASSY.

So, is an USCIS Expedite different from NVC expedite? Does this mean I need to apply expedite again?

I didn't really get that info about this one, as it seemed meaningless at the moment sorry.

Maybe @msscarlette knows something

@msscarlette - the girl said on her Facebook post that her Fiance (Petitioner) received an email for interview details - not her. I just confirmed it to her right now what is the content of the email received by her Petitioner. She said that it contains an Approved case notice and Interview details, which has made them confused too. Hehehehe! The process is getting crazier and people are really aggravated and confused now. We have to sit back and wait for the next episode of this long and winding series, guys! Sending hugs to everybody  Breathe, everyone.....breath!

How are you doing, baby girl? I hope you're well now. Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fruits and veggies. We have to be healthy for this process.
