When you watch the visa journey timeline estimate push out and push out as the CSC trend-line continues to climb and climb to the highest levels in 2 years, it is hard to not get pretty depressed. This is not an emotionally easy process and knowing that you are in a group that has had to suffer a longer wait than many many who came before is not easy. The story "Yes, the group of filers we were in had the longest average wait in K1 processing history!" is not the story I want to be telling!

I hear ya!!!  We are all preaching to the choir.  I guess this is a "no pain, no gain" situation.  There is talk that the State Department is starting to get pretty beat up by the new Administration and the morale may be low right now.  They still have quotas to meet.  There is a great thread here from a few years ago that was started by a former USCIS adjudicator.  He was no longer with that department but he wanted to share what life is like at the Service Center.  I will try to find it and link to it here.  It is a great read.  

 

I guess patience is a virtue and we will be very damn virtuous people here!!!  LOL  Keep the eye on the ball.  The end justifies the means and a lot of other inspirational quotes.  When it comes down to it, a few extra months waiting to be with our loved ones is really very little to endure. We are the lucky few that found our true loves thousands of miles away from home.  This is a journey, not a destination.

I was just looking at all the February filers that are still waiting!  That is good news either way because at least someone is moving through.

Hello from California and Brazil  A little on the late train, but we're June filers as well. Happy to see so much support on this thread! It's a bummer seeing the estimated adjudication period getting farther and farther, but it'll all be worth it in the end.

Yeah, I have to say I had a bit of a frustration moment last night. We are going to suffer a longer wait based upon the H1B priority which is kind of frustrating. Seeing your government prioritize the desires of foreign companies like TCS and Infosys (the H1Bs), over the requests of its own citizens (K1s) is very disheartening to say the least.

I lost a month now since I joined 2 weeks ago.  Does this ever move up or are we all really pushing towards November and December for the NOA2?

I've lost a month too, but in 3 1/2 months. The timeline moving so wildly in the wrong direction is kind of a new thing. Before that, it moved that way too, but much more slowly and sometimes even moved in the right direction. July has really been hurtful for our processing times. So here's to hope things go better come August, and even better in September

...and October...LOL  I couldn't imagine just being a few weeks away.  I wish you the best.  Your longest wait is almost over!

Lol, that's the thing with the silly timeline moving constantly... I'm always a week or two away
