Mine moved from November 24th and 26th to November 25th and 28th :(

I think we should stop looking at that!  I like the information from the scans better!  LOL

The real scary part is that the actual NOA2 used to come about a week to 10 days past the time listed in the estimated timeline.  That was during the peak of the slowdown in September and October.

I am looking forward to the afternoon scans.  The morning scans from Shoegum showed a lot of files touched but they were all RFEs or "letter of explanation" sent.  No approvals.

Ouch!

It'd be a nice holiday gift if it came in before Christmas.

I'm keeping everything crossed. My contract on my home runs out Feb 5th, so they need to bloody hurry up 😥

Why you got the RFE so early?

Cause our case was in Texas first and a notary handling it, I needed a translated birth certificate from Norwegian to English.

I told my work place that I am leaving and I think they are ready to hire someone for my position, but it turns out I am not leaving anytime soon.

It's a sucky boat to be on...

What does "letter of explanation" mean?

Most likely "intent to deny", we are not 101% sure....

I got the GP letter last week

I'm a bit confused as to what the GP letter is based on this link someone provided in another reply: https://uk.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2016/08/IV018a-IV-medical-letter-Aug-2016.pdf

You're saying the GP letter is different from the Embassy doctor appointment?

I see a medical questionnaire in the document above, but nothing that the village GP (non Embassy doc) should take care of?

Thanks!

ucis.gov and travel.state.gov state a foreign national who applies for and immigrant visa is required to receive vaccinations to prevent disease, the list of diseases matches what I stated in my reply.

The CDC Recommends immunizations for the general population which also include the exact same list, some are only recommendations for people with medical conditions which I disbelieve with your list you wasn't taken into account. Correct me if i'm wrong! So I would hate for people to be ill advised. This isn't a Dig at you, just as a medical professional I would hate to see people given information which isn't specific to them as individuals.

A waver will be given to UK citizens for the Varicella as most of us have been exposed to the chickenpox virus already.

Again, sorry to tell you, but yes, you are wrong.  The information I gave is correct.

Here is the link provided directly from Knightsbridge Doctors regarding vaccinations, which links you directly to the Embassy website and explanation of the medical.

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/family-immigration/medical-examination/

Under vaccinations you will see another link, to a more colorful version of the chart I linked previously.

https://uk.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2015/11/vaccine_chart.pdf

I'd also hate people to be ill-advised which is why, personally, I verified and checked my information before posting it.
