Quick question for the forum seeing that so many of you are so very knowledable. My received date is June 23 but my WAC number is 1790380527, which falls to the end of the June batch. Will they get to me by my date or WAC number? I have no idea why my number seems to be that much higher then the other June 23rd peeps. Thank you in advance! So many wonderful people on here!

That number does seem high.  I'm June 6 with 53747.  I just looked you up and you are a June 23 filer on day 145!  I don't think they got 20,000 petitions 17 days!

He was rejected? I am so afraid of that :(

That must have been horrible for you guys.

Maybe I take it a lot lighter than most people, cause I take no paperwork in regards to employment or family.

But thank you! We will take the risk because at least that means we know we tried lol.

I will need to make sure I'm prepared for it this time.

Yes, it has been terrible and he’s essentially stuck in Canada while we’re waiting this out...definitely bring those things with you and you should be fine!

Thanks for the reply @John & Rose ! That’s what I was thinking. Idc as long as it doesn’t move me back on the list. I should have been an early June date, but I took too much time filling out the paperwork. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess lol.

163 for me and 167 for June 1-- I see a lot of stress and worry here that seems to be caused by false expectations of the timeline.

Hmmmm, if only there were someone here that had spent considerable effort to collect the required data and build an algorithm to analyze it and predict a date more reliably. Oh wait, there was! But alas because he did not subscribe to unsubstantiated group think he was called stupid and driven away with torches and pitchforks.

But I'm sure I'm still wrong, everyone up to June 7 is approved and systems are just not updated, right Squirrel?

About that champagne that you wanted chilled Squirrel, the ice has melted and the bottle is warm.

Oh, and one other thing, I never addressed your sarcastic comment to me to thank Naes. I don't mean to be sarcastic in return, but why? I never used Naes' data and was not interested in it because it was insufficient for my needs which is why I've always pulled my own data from USCIS--so why would I thank someone for something I'm not interested in or using? However, I agree with you that if someone finds it useful and they consume it, by all means a thank you is in order.

Oh well, carry on, I will leave you all to it again.

Welcome back!  It is all good my friend.  Please relax and keep the eye on our beautiful better halves.  I'm at day 162 and I am hoping for 175.  My day 170 is Thanksgiving Day so I have to acquiesce to the long weekend.  It is so close that we can all taste it.

Take a deep breath.  This will all be over soon (but not soon enough).  I am glad you are still with us but we do need to focus on our loved ones.  Honestly, I do appreciate all the effort you took to look at the numbers.  I think everybody here knows we were closely aligned with our estimates.  10 days plus or minus really doesn't mean anything at this point.

Smile and give Yan a big virtual hug.  We will all be with our loved ones soon.

Have June applications started to receive RFEs?

Yep!  RFEs can come at anytime.  What we really need to see are a few approvals.  So far the approvals have been questionable or expedited.  We will see something anytime now!  I can feel it.

I hope it is only 10 days. I was predicting 174-178 average for 80% of the early June cases if you recall (20% for reasons I cannot determine take quite long). Though I am a bit worried. As cocky as I am about my math and logic skills, I'm worried about my model a bit. For my predictive model to be accurate, we need to start seeing June 1 activity right at about 168 days (since it takes them about 1.5 to 2 weeks go get through 80% of the petitions for a given day). As I've said before, I did not put Thanksgiving into my model (to be honest, it is because when I first started building the model, I thought I would be approved just before Thanksgiving, so I didn't worry about trying to understand the longer term impact of a holiday like that), so if you take the 174-178 prediction and adjust for vacations the week of Thanksgiving and then the thanksgiving holiday itself, there is a very high probability that you and I, my friend, get bumped up to over 180 as your back of the napkin math predicted.

But like you said, in the grand scheme of things, it is not that big. And the loved ones are what matters. Stay well my friend.

If I recall, I was the pessimist at 180.  You were the realist at 170+.  In my case 170 wasn't possible because of Thanksgiving so I moved back to the following Monday, my day 174.  You were based on numbers and analysis.  I was based on my last 10 years as a consultant to the government.  I know how they work during holidays!  The fact that we were so close with the estimate was interesting.

I am hoping June 1 will start to see real movement this week.  We are all so close now.  Hang in there and yes, I do appreciate the effort you put into your analysis.  At this point it seems very solid and accurate.

Deep down all that matters is what USCIS adjudicators do so here is to hoping that they hit record numbers so we can all start complaining about how long NVC is taking...  LOL
