Next time you get an updated it will be either your NOA2 or an RFE... normally it is that way, unless they transfer your case.

However, the tracker has been not working in the last two months for approvals, but only RFE's. People have been getting the NOA2 in the mailbox.

I’m getting all the alerts of people rushing to move by Christmas and I think I’m the only one planning on timing this to be purposely nearer Easter for an April/May wedding. 

 

Ohio winters are brutal and my wedding dress is not something I fancy wearing when it’s freezing. I know my family are more likely to at least try and make the trip in better weather and I’m also just needing to save up a bit more to prepare for the months i’ll be out of work and for healthcare pre marriage. Probably too sensible for my own good :wacko:

If the best things in life are free, why is a long distance relationship so expensive!?

American snow seems to be other worldly to the UK lol! Difference is more people get out and clear it rather than pointing and moaning about it lol!

Yeah I've been there when it was Chilly. I've known my fiancé for over 21 years and have been over the years. My mum went for thanksgiving once and they were literally snowed inside the house lol

Lol you see in the UK, our snow resembles muck lol. It doesn't snow properly so it's not very nice to be in.

plus we're more used to rain lol

We take it in stride.  I have a great HUGE snowblower.  A nice warm coat, hat and gloves and I will do the whole block!

I didn't want to start another topic in case this information is buried here somewhere.

 

My fiancé and her two teenage children (14 and 17) are all coming to the US.  I am trying to plan a little ahead.  I see the visa fee (MRV) for my fiancé is $265.  Is the fee for the kids the same?

 

Also, I know about the medical costs but I was wondering where the cutoff age is set.  I believe I've seen both under 14 and under 15 listed as the cutoff age.  My future step daughter will be 14 if all goes well (January birthday).  Do I pay the adult fee or child fee for her?

 

Then there is the CFO fee and the travel tax.  Am I missing anything?
