It's the first letter you got telling you they received your case and will process it later.  I mailed my forms on 6/20.

I am still holding a glimmer of hope that today we may see at least one June case touched. However, to brighten your day if you are:

 

June 1st there is only one untouched day before you  

 

June 2nd there are only 2 days before you

 

June 5th there are only 3 days before you and "La Novela" lady @Larissa & Johnson

 

June 6th there are only 4 days before you and @John & Rose

 

June 7th there are only 5 days before you

 

June 8th there are only 6 days before you

 

June 9th there are only 7 days before you and me

 

June 12th there are only 8 days before you and @vocaledge

 

and so on .........

Officially, it means Notice Of Action #1 --- your case was received --- to be followed by Notice Of Action #2 --- your case was accepted

 

Unofficially, NOA means "Number Order Anxiety" --- a treatable diagnosis, and a temporary psychological condition that is cured with a dose of NVC

I am running a scan, just to see if anything has been placed on the system, but my theory/hope/dream/crazy thought.....

They will start registering June cases on Monday.

I love the disclaimer @vocaledge. You should have waited, it is only 2pm in California, they have 4 more hours to go. Thanks though, it is greatly appreciated !

 

And if I can ask you for a small favor, whenever you get a chance, just to list the all June dates with number of "received for each day. Thanks a bunch !

Yes, but today is holiday for most federal workers, so it may not matter if the files are pulled at 2pm Pacific time.  My dream is they will get through the first 10 days of June next week.  but time will tell.  I was hoping for the original September date, but then she is still waiting on paperwork on her side which is supposed to be ready at the end of this month, so the extra time has not affected us much.  Everything will work out and hope to be together here soon.
