I just called, the USCIS representative stated, that they are working on the first week of September and June July and August had very little cases so they are done and completed I asked him is there a possibility my case was transferred he says no I see that it is in California waiting to be processed and I asked is there any way they started working on September and are going to get back to the month they missed he said no because they usually try to work them in the order received he told me he couldn't put in a request for me  because he see that i put one in online, and he says he cant expidite it because it dosent fall under the guide lines.  he said the request I put in is the same as if he would have put it in and I should hear something by December 8th but on the website it says I should hear something by November 30th....He was super super nice and told me to call back when ever i had questions..... just a thought that popped in my head I wonder if June July and August should call NVC to see if it's possible our case was transferred LOL... at this point I don't know what to think

Well in may I got scolded by a southern mommy... now the most optimistic one got realistic ...

this time I'm going!

Please oh please have some news by the morning guys ❤️❤️

Good night our darling @Naes, sleep well. We'll see what the day brings, but expect the same ...

And to add, I am still the most optimistic one, and I honestly never ever wished to give false hope to anyone, everything I said always had a reason behind it. Maybe just a touch of optimism was included, but looking back, everything has been very close to my guessing. Now I am guessing that they are into second (my) week in June already. You are all witnesses ....

It sounds like the USCIS reps are guessing like we are. Maybe they should read this forum to get better answers for us. LOL

Me too, as if this wasnt exhausting enough now we need to deal with this, cannot believe they would say to someone on the phone that they are actually handling September filers when there's so many of us who filled prior and have not heard back. My fiancé rang twice, first they were talking and the woman said she would raise a request all of sudden she said "cannot hear you" and the line went off. Second time they said they would not raise a request but rather transfer to an immigration officer, but they are too busy and would ring him back in two hours.

yeah right, this is BS

My SO just called and was told that as our file is now outside the normal processing time they are sending a service request to California on our behalf. We can expect a response between 15 and 30 days with an updated status.

It looked like we were just about to break through and now all of this. Lets hope something changes quickly and things get back on track.

They are just behind in entering it all into the system. They just started entering May 29th cases as of two days ago. I an sure, I guarantee it :)

I called back as I was instructed to do by call center agent early in the morning to get an expedited case going and their response this time around was very short and impatient. “No, we can’t help you, ticket created online, you will hear back in 30 days, we are processing cases from September, information true and correct. We don’t have any answers for you as where your case is, or if it was skipped or not, and why it has not been processed or when it will be processed.  No, you cannot speak to anyone else because we will all tell you the same thing. You have to wait.” All this with an attitude nothing like the last person I spoke to earlier in the day.

Something smells fishy.... 🤔🤔🤔

Whoah! How rude whoever agent that was! As if we filed for free and as if we aren't suffering enough because of this insanely slow process. Something is really fishy here,  folks. Hmmm... But still hoping that positive things are about to happen.

Okay, so I submitted an inquiry online last night and it was assigned to an officer. I got an email confirming it was received and to wait 30 days for a response. I called today and spoke to a Tier 2 person and was told that he couldn't give me specifics about my case because it wasn't physically in front of him. I asked if there is any way that they record the progress in some type of system and he said no. I asked if I could be transferred to someone in California that could shed some light and he said no. He told me I needed to wait (the full 30 days) and hear from the USCIS officer about my inquiry. It's not what I wanted to hear, so I got pretty ticked. I asked about the processing time being updated and asked if he knew anything about the possibility of the petitions being transferred to different service centers, and he said that is a possibility. He couldn't confirm anything for me. Ya'll, this is ridiculous.

Me too! I just think they don’t have an answer to give us and are just giving us what’s sounds correct to them according to their protocol. That is the part that worries me. I get that they are probably frustrated but it’s nicer to hear them be empathetic than it is to hear them be dismissive for sure. Limbo is not a fun place to be for any of us as hopeful as we might be.

I wonder what determines whether they assign an officer to online request or not... 🤔 what is your NOA 1 date if you don’t mind?
