30 May.. Yay!

Is it me or are RFEs appearing earlier than approvals? I’m wondering if our cases are being looked at by less senior adjudicators who have authority to seek an RFE but pass on their nominated approvals to seniors for a final check? Just a thought..

I’ve also noted that no one on VJ has reported an approval by mail (and had no digital notification) for a few days now..

When I used to work for Medicaid as an eligibility worker... cases were screened for requirements and verifications would be sent off... Case was on hold until cerification was obtained or received... at the beginning I had to have aproval from my supervisor or lead for the first 6 months when my budgets were ran and case was ready for approval... maybe thats a similar process...

First this, there were two VJ members today, both approved. I asked them, check the May topic.

YES ! Constanly this is the case. First RFE's for any day, Than half/half the next day, than flood of approvals to a point, and than again half/half (at the very end). I noticed the same thing, and I think that they have a "plow" crew, that plows through any pile first, and weeds out the 101% obvious RFE's. Than the rest goes to "higher" adjudicator who is authorized to do approvals and denials. Basically same as you said, just different terminology.

So, the mailed approvals are still being reported? Apologies, I tend to scan (excuse the pun) the forum posts... although I can’t miss your darn twerking squirrel when I’m scrolling - Makes me smile every time!
