@Ay Pe (I literally searched for you for 10 min:lol:)

@msscarlette

ok guys hopefully somewhere this week the worst next week we will start seeing June cases.

As john has a mac and this scan doesn't work well with mac, I would like to ask you too. If still interested and available to do this with, and obviously we all have a personal life, so this is not a job! Don't let anyone pressure you into it (especially me 😊) Please message me so I can explain and we can try if it works for you guys.

I feel happy today... even though it was a Monday (I finished the Monday here..sigh.)

I've read some good proposal stories...

Hi @Naes

Have said a few times in various threads that I'm happy to help in any way that I can with the scans, and I'd love you to take me up on my offer.

I have full availability through the week to run the scans twice daily, and would love to contribute to this fantastic community.

Hope to hear from you soon!

For everyone who's starting a new week!

i hope this may make you laugh and say "so that's why this girl is weird"

see i I went to US in May to meet my fiancé's family. And while I was there we decided to see this venue I so like for the wedding (nope no proposal yet- but I knew cause we can't keep a secret... like at all- that his mother gave him a ruby which was in the family for my engagement ring)

so we liked it so much! And that was it... we went home I asked his mother if she thinks it's too crazy, if we should maybe spent next three months as planned before we put a deposit...) then I said you put 250 I put 250, I believe if we decide not to use it losing this money won't be the saddest thing...

there you go engaged on may 4th!

Forever Star Wars fans accidentally engaged on May 4th!

Next day we went for the ring... two months later he did the worst proposal in the proposal history... in the morning... before my coffee, five minutes before I go to work...

I said " no... do it again"

even the ring box was closed (like seriously dude open the box at least... don't give me the box?!?

Next morning... again in the morning... this time in the living room next to a -please clean me level- cat litter box...

box was open... I laughed... I gave up...

so now whenever ever he is romantic (cause other than this he is this incredibly romantic person!!)

i repeat "still a better proposal"

Oh my goodness, that did gave me a chuckle! You are wonderful and your (and others) spirits keep these pages alive :D

Renewal :P

@Murph4865 renewal indeed! I was waiting as long as possible, so that it's valid as long as possible afterwards. Strange thinking I know. It would've only made a couple months' difference. But now I'll have my visa in an all new - stamp-less passport! :D And will of course keep the old one. New passport takes about 5 working days, so I should have it by next week :)

I even traveled to the US end August on a passport that was not valid for 6 months beyond the intended stay (expires in Feb 2018). I had looked up well in advance of my flight whether I needed to renew my passport, or whether there was a chance of not having to renew it. The latter happened to be the case. Some nationalities are not obligated to have the 6 month validity beyond intended stay. Usually I wouldn't take the gamble/try, but I had prints from the US government website, so figured I'd be ok.

Well really soon it will all be about approvals, and rfes and why didn't mine get processed, why did bla bla... We will be all stressed (expect me really I mean I am on day 52...)

So for now while we have some room for the last a few calm days - storm is coming- I just want smileys :)

Now I am waiting for the day;

I will run a June scan, everyone will be like "isn't it early??"

and I will be like "I saw 5 cases today it is starting"

and then pessimists will go that doesn't mean it started we have 1000+ may still

and then optimists will be like "no no don't you see it started next week everyone will be approved"

and then realists will be like "it...just.. started... calm down... seriously calm down"

And I know it stresses some, sometimes me too when I see.. but these all will end with a happy wedding (seriously I sometimes end up at the vawa forum so please guys keep it up happy!!!)

So I like everyone to be happier at least - although it really pisses me off too-

Haha! Yes! I've seen plenty of that from when I started following the March thread, then in the April thread, and now the May thread.

Mr. Fiance and I are happy if we get it end Nov/early Dec. We have our wedding planned end April 2018, but do want to give fam/friends enough time to request leave from work and book cheap(er) flights! :)

Most amazing experience of my life. My now Fiancé arranged a gondola ride on our holiday in Fort Lauderdale which was absolutely amazing. From start to finish everything was perfect.
My fiancé organised the whole trip. I had no idea about it.

He arranged to get sushi, wine and champagne which the trip was more than accommodating with, providing wine glasses, champagne glasses and a cooler to chill in.

The gondola was beautifully set out, very comfortable. It was very authentic.

Martha the gondolier was very warming and so genuine, we both felt so comfortable in her presence. She made the trip perfect. So convincing. I had no idea of the surprise ahead.

We were taking a ride down Millionaires row looking at the houses and drinking wine with romantic music that made the setting perfect. Martha gave us the option of which route to take which we went on her recommendation for the better view of the sunset.

Half way through the trip the boat hit a stop and sounded like it had hit something in the water. Martha played her role amazing. Asking my now fiancé to grab the net so she could fish out what she had hit. At this point in time I am panicking that we are stuck in the marina. Martha was so convincing. She fished out a message in a bottle that had a typed message in from my Fiancé. (He has sent her the letter earlier in the day and she had it printed)
Still oblivious to what was going on I opened the bottle to read the scroll. When I turned round my fiancé was on one knee and proposed to me. The setting and experience could not be any better. Just perfect

Seriously...SERIOUSLY.. I'm sooo jealous <_<

My opinion if u overstayed with a passport with less than 6 months validity immigration may look at it seriously

Ahhhhhh, loveeee! (L)

My turn!

My fiance was here for the first time in April. It was his first time in Europe, so we spent a whopping 3 days in the Netherlands and then went on a little Euro trip.

From the day he arrived, he gave me a card each day with a reason why he loves me. Oblivious me did not suspect anything, and thought it was just a confirmation that we were doing well considering that we had a little bit of a rough patch before.

On our first full day, we walked around downtown Prague and then headed up to the Castle. Towards the end of our time there, we climbed up the roughly 280 steps of the Cathedral tower thing, from where we had a gorgeous view over Prague. While up there he asked me if I wanted my card of the day there, so giddy me said yes (had already been joking each day that I would snoop his luggage etc - although never did). I read the card while facing the view. In the card he asked me to turn around, and when I did, he was on one knee and asked me: Wil je met me trouwen? (Will you marry me, in Dutch - which he'd practiced with Google translate). To which I said yes!

Funny thing looking back: There was security at the Prague Castle, so he had to take everything out of his pockets. He got lucky with me being stuck behind some high schoolers and being distracted. He had put the ring in his pocket, as I would have probably found/noticed if he had a box in one of his pockets. So my ring was on the search table with his coins, passport and what not. I could have seen it if I hadn't been distracted!

Guess so. I read everywhere that you'd be allowed to say till the day of expiry, or something along those lines at least. No clue how they would track people like that, but yeah - overstaying is never good.

Did not have the intention to overstay, and did have a letter from my employer, copy of return ticket etc.

@Hadassah123 awww this is cute. They can be romantic when they want to be :) xx
