Do you already have your NOA1?  There is a notification of address change on the case tracker, or if all else fails, ask your petitioner to call them to change it... At the NVC stage they will need your correct address for sure.

Yes, I am waiting for NOA2 now... and I saw that theres a Change of address that u can submit, but that is only when u move within the united states and not the foreign Country where the beneficiary stays at.

Received NOA1 on 27th June, currently living in United Kingdom I’m looking to move back to Australia with my parents during this waiting process how would I go about that like for the interview and stuff because we put that London would be my local embassy. How would I change it to my local embassy in Australia which would be Sydney? Would the process taking longer to do this.

Hi I'm from June too but we received a letter "WE ARE RETURNING AN ITEM YOU SENT IN SUPPORT OF YOUR APPLICATION/PETITION, AS IT IS A FORMAT WE CANNOT PLACE IN YOUR FILE FOLDER FOR REVIEW BY AN OFFICER DURING THE ADJUDICATION PROCESS"

They returned our photo album.

How do you send your photos? Are you supposed to paste them to sheets of paper? What's the proper way ?

I'm not quite sure what people mean when they say the USCIS has sent back a photo album, all I can picture is sending back an actual book full of photos... I think so long as the photos can be put in the file, it's ok? But if you send in an oddly formatted group of pictures (like glued into an album or something) they can't accept it because they can't fit it into the file? As far as our submission went, since all the photos we take are digital anyway, I sent in about 10-12 pictures, two or three to a page, with the date/location/small explanation of who is in the photo and what we were doing, typed up alongside it. If you send in actual developed photos if I remember correctly you're supposed to write that sort of stuff on the back? I submitted our passport photos by putting them in a ziplock bag and taping the bag to a sheet of printer paper so that it was easily accessible in the bag but also fit neatly into the file and could be hole punched to attach to the rest of the packet, maybe something like that is acceptable for physical photos?

You can send them in a Ziploc bag. We call them and they told us if they need them they will request them, cause my fiance didn't know and he sent an album lol.

When you get the hardcopy, you'll see it states two different dates: received date and notice date. You are supposed to go by the notice date for the Timeline here, and that one usually matches the day when you got the text/email.

However, there's times where notice date seems more informative, assuming they work in some kind of order, which somehow not that true. Plus is what you would use as a reference to know if you are out of normal processing times according to USCIS official dates, and therefore you can start an inquiry... But really hoping that's not your case, because usually that means 5-6 months without NOA2

The personal information they are talking about is just both your names and dates of birth. They do make mistakes there sometimes. Also if they made a mistake when specifying the Embassy picked for interview. Just that :)

Congrats! I was just able to book a trip to go see my fiancee in a couple months so we have something closer to look forward to. I hope she can be here by new years as that is a very important holiday for her. Fingers crossed.

So I checked the case through the USCIS website and it says there that they got our application last June 30, but we got the text last July 5, so what date should I put in my timeline?

Hi! I just received my noa1 in the mail dated that it was received June 30th. So I may be moving around September. Anyone heard of the cons of changing your address during this transition? Will my beneficiary have to do anything different? Do you think forms with my previous address will be a problem ?
