Hey All,

Just wanted to share. We filed back in the first week of June and about a week later I realize that I did not submit the last page of my divorce paper and we had to add a name for my fiancé that he used as a child. I mailed all of this information to California service center and asked that they please put it in the file. I called about a month ago to ask if the information was in the file they said that they could not tell me and that they didn’t see anything uploaded into their system.

So, last week I went online and addressed it as a typographical error and updated his last day of work and then I included the last name correction and let them know that I had already sent in a packet with all of this information and could they please confirm that they got it.

The response I got today on the tracker is that the information was updated.

I have no idea what that means.

So hopefully they updated everything or they just updated the typographical error which was his last day of service and his last name.

I really just don’t want an RFE for those divorce papers being incomplete Because I forgot to sign the last page of my divorce papers.Because I forgot to sendthe last page of my divorce

*rant complete*

I'm seeing a lot of recent visa approvals on the main page for April filers!!!! Meaning people who have completed everything, all the way to the interview. Looking at a lot of their timelines, it looks like a majority received their NOA2 (which is what most of us are currently awaiting) at the end of September, and interview was done by the end of October. Is it just me, or have things been picking up a bit? (I haven't been around on here for a few days because of some things going in IRL taking up a lot of free time). It makes me happy to see that much action for people who filed not too long before us. Also, to see apparently things move MUCH faster once NOA2 is received. Is it impractically arrogant to say some of us may see the end of this all by February or March? :)

Håll ut, y'all.

I am hoping for a November NOA2 and a January interview.  That may be a little aggressive but I can see us all together by the end of January (June 6 NOA1 - Day 149).

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

January is definitely still possible. All depends on receipt of NOA2 and length of time before scheduling an interview

Yep.  Problem for us is that Manila is a VERY busy embassy.  If we aren't lucky it can be 60 days before we get the interview.

After NOA2, YMMV depending on the embassy for beneficiary’s country.

I like the aggressiveness because it's an even better outcome than what I said, haha. That would be amazing!

I've been wondering how much influence we can exert on that interview date. Certainly that varies by embassy, however, in my experience with Cambodia I had appointments before for non-visa matters and was able to get them moved up to before the available dates on the system.

I have mapped out the places already for medical, certificate from Ministry of Justice, certificate from local authority re: never been married, official translations, etc.. She will get all of that done ASAP, at which time I will push the embassy. Not comfortable doing it beforehand in the event any of those takes longer than anticipated. (As I imagine the government in the Philippines is also "interesting.")

No idea if it will work but I am going to try!

I've been thinking a lot about Igor's list lately. We always speculate on here about how many less active members get their NOA2's and never update their timelines. Looking at Igor's list for dates DEFINITELY past (*cought*2016*cough*) for NOA1's, and a lot of dates we know they're almost if not all the way done with (February, for example), it seems like a good third of the users here (rough estimate) never update their timelines after they get their NOA2's. Does this seem accurate to anyone else? Can't the administrators just program the timeline estimate to automatically exclude timelines that don't have NOA2's yet?

Sorry, I'm a spell-it-out kinda gal. :)

And, yes, obviously. It's comparing apples to oranges because it varies for lots of reasons - location, timing, the actual case itself. Everything here is speculation and guess work.

Håll ut, y'all.

Thanks guys for your kind words. I'm glad to see a few more approvals - especially @Anita27 getting approved today (one heck of an NOA2 journey!), and that we've catapulted into the 800's and nearly into the 700's on Igor's List (Yay!). I'm still rooting for 166 days for our approval.

I have popped into the forum to ask whether anyone thinks this could flag an RFE/ RFIE:

As the petitioner still lives at the same address for 10+ years, we didn't complete 'Your address history' in Part 1, Items 9a-10b (top of page 2) of the I-129f, because we interpreted the explanation in that section to mean that 'Your Mailing Address' (bottom of page 1) was sufficient. But as the 'Your Mailing Address' section didn't offer a field to input 'Date From', I'm losing sleep on this tonight!

Anyone's opinions / experience would be welcomed.

TIA

I think I did the same, we'll have to see what happens:mellow:
