You 129f is at work, and it is Friday lunch time, day is soon to be over, and your weekend starts shortly .... enjoy :jest:

ps you don't cry at your job looking at the clock on Friday afternoon when you know you are free soon ;)

Just went to Philippines postal service website, regular mail is 7-14 days. You just like overestimating things seems like

sssss

Also, they do have an express service (even overnight) offered for "time sensitive documents", they call it IEMS. Here is a link to the page, everything is explained
I hope I helped my Philippino here :)

Anyone mailing from the UK, there is a website called www.courierpoint.com

They are a cheap 3rd party company that ship within 2 days using FedEx for a fraction of the price. You have to do all the invoice work and print them. They just pick it up and deliver it.

I have sent many care packages and letters through these guys and have got to MD within 2 days. Tracked and signed for.

Might be worth going through these guys to speed up any mailing you may need to do to the States or where ever. 🙂

Hope this helps someone somewhere.

That is a great plan. The only really gray area is the 3 to 7 quarters. Last year the NOA2s took around 40 days. It wasn’t until late April or early May that the times started a significant slowdown. Historical data may need some tweaking to be relevant.

I didn't say 3 to seven quarters, I said 3 and then 7 quarters, precisely because of the same reason you have. The last 3 are the work since the change in US administration at the White House. Also in those 3 quarters for the first time they had to re-prioritize some types of visas, so we suffered. Last 3 are very relevant, and only one of the 3 quarters is out of the historical norm/trend, and it was not the last one, leading up to us.

Also, there is one more quarter finished, just not published as of yet. That one is also significant because it is after our filing quarter, and July-Aug-Sep work.

Things that I heavily lean on are:

- historical rate of approvals over last 3 than over last 7 quarters

- USCIS not updating their website in timely fashion

- number of people that received NOA2 and never got updated

- number of rejections, which I firmly believe never get entered into system ("received" or RFE forever)

All of this put together, this Friday, or Monday after, it is our turn.

Hello all! New posting here. Looks like a lot of people not receiving notifications on the web. I am June 12 filed. Approaching 5 months. Seems like it's taking most people longer than that? I see a lot of talk on here but not a lot of time lines or approval talk, am I looking in the wrong place to see if people close to me are getting approved? Thank you and good luck!

The only June filers approved so far are expedited. This is the place to be once approvals start happening. You will start seeing happy people here in a few weeks.

There may be some evidence that they are very far behind in putting updates online.

Go and get them now. Anticipate the RFE and send the photos as soon as you get the letter. Get enough so you have them for the interview and medical too.

I thought it was one each? Ughhhhh. Oh well I have the extras at home

Nope, you're right.  From the I-129F instructions:

It makes sense to be one. Rapidvisa made me send 2. Maybe losing the photo is common enough that Rapidvisa sends 2 just in case.

Everywhere I read said to send 2 passport approved photos. Had to be paperclipped in a little clear bag to the corresponding biometric form...
