I believe we ended up paying the equivalent of $200 US and they said the best they can do is 3 days. I’m pretty sure the money went into the persons pocket and they sent it the regular way. It cost $200 and it took 3 weeks. That was their expedited service. So you know, their daily wage is about $6 US. The taxis and many Philpost employees make all their money by theft and bribes.

There is express mail but then again it depends on the people working in the post office or the special couriers like fedex or dhl. It might take at least 2 to 3 weeks to deliver it to the beneficiary. 

 

There are 3 major Islands in the Philippines, each one has different rates and the carriers usually arrive in the capital of the Philippines which is Manila in the North. If the beneficiary is from the south or in the midde islands, it ends up adding more days. It gets worse, if the benficiary lives in the province where the delivery guy has to venture by motorbike coz a delivery truck can't enter. Hence, he might end up with 3 weeks even on express mail.

Yes!!!!  They had to be part of the petition. 2 copies of both the petitioner and the beneficiary

It’s not much better on this side of the pond...sent something to my fiancé in Canada that was expedited and it took 10 days...complete waste!! Plus they went through it at customs, boy were they disappointed!

Go and get them now. Anticipate the RFE and send the photos as soon as you get the letter. Get enough so you have them for the interview and medical too.

Well guys, I hope and pray for all of us to be done soon, very soon. I am June 9th, so once you guys start, I still have 9 days to go, so I hope to celebrate all approvals before me, and than mine. I am at 142 days, 18 more puts me at November 16th.

 

Things that I heavily lean on are:

 

- historical rate of approvals over last 3 than over last 7 quarters

- USCIS not updating their website in timely fashion

- number of people that received NOA2 and never got updated

- number of rejections, which I firmly believe never get entered into system ("received" or RFE forever) 

 

all of this put together, this Friday, or Monday after, it is our turn.

That is a great plan. The only really gray area is the 3 to 7 quarters. Last year the NOA2s took around 40 days. It wasn’t until late April or early May that the times started a significant slowdown. Historical data may need some tweaking to be relevant.
