Hello folks! Long-term background stalker on this forum. Mid-June filer. Hope everybody is hanging in there. Visiting my fiance in NY next month for Thanksgiving (originally thought I'd be there by then - how foolish!).

Can somebody do me a massive favour and explain the above numbers/analysis from Naes to me? Are the numbers being gleaned from VJ, or elsewhere? I've tracked back through the forum but struggling to find the context.

Welcome to the club!

Re the numbers/analysis, it seems that Naes has run the same script with data from the USCIS website as Shoegum from the May thread has been doing. Shoegum has been posting on a daily basis in the May thread from when USCIS started on the May applications. I'm guessing Naes got the script from Shoegum and has done us a favor by scanning all June cases for us. Now we still need someone to take over and keep scanning every day once June 1st movement starts happening!

It's basically what we can scan with our apps, but rather than us being blocked at scanning 500 or so, they can scan through the whole batch because of whatever script they are running. Can't have too many people doing that, because that would overload servers, or lock people out, hence only Shoegum doing it for the May filers.

The numbers that Naes posted show how many applications were sent in for June, how many have already been approved (I guess expedited cases) and how many have received RFE. The numbers will change once they start on our applications.

Edit: some of us here (myself included) are stalking the May thread for Shoegums posts to get an idea of how far along USCIS is with approvals etc :)

Good Morning (In my case Good night!) dear Juners

I am scanning September Filers cases in order to hopefully continue to may scans when our time comes.

However as it was too far away anyways, I wanted to know how many cases each month has, and just finished the June cases.

From what I understand someone here is thinking of doing it also. So if that person needs the full list of June K1, please message me!

Good Luck to all of us!

Hi

wow thank you for the perfect explanation.. seriously every aspect covered from why we can't just have everybody do at once 😂

so juners already have two people working on scanning for the future. I just remembered reading @John & Rose having trouble because of mac he was using so thought of helping a bit! And I will try to help so somebody can do it.

Believe me your wait is our wait.

(huh this should be company policy or something)

Yep.  I use Parallels and it was causing some trouble.  I was going to reinstall a 64 bit Windows in Boot Camp to get rid of the emulation.  Still working on it though.

I will send you the full list of k1 so at least you won't have to scan through all of it again. Hope you can figure it out!

I would even do that if by chance you guys can't work it out but I would only be able to send it right after noon and at night (Japanese times suck)

That's a really helpful explanation - makes complete sense to me now. Thank you, and thanks very much to Naes!

Thanks @Naes ! The spreadsheet would be awesome, whenever you can. (when would that be )

Tonight is when I hope I'll be doing it.

but you think that's soon? Nooo cause it's 9:30 am here in the land of the rising sun!

so I'm guessing in approximately 9 hours.

I'm working in IT, and cannot use personal laptop at work due to security reasons. 😐
