Just curious. How did those couples know their dates of NOA2? Did USCIS email them or notify them ahead? Coz I thought, it's us (applicants) who update our own timeline.

well here you update your own timeline based on your status from USCIS.

NOA2 notifications come in by email, text message and eventually regular mail.

Some people have confirmed that they got a text message or email before the status on the application or the USCIS website has updated.

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

Interview scheduled for: 05/09/2024

Ahhhhhh I see. Coz what I've heard that NOA2 is only hard copy thru regular mail and that USCIS will  not email any copy.

no that's def not true. depending on the center how quick they are able to update the online tracking, you may get the text or hard copy in mail even before :) good luck

If you filled up the G-1145 Notification of application/acceptance form and included it in your I-129f packet, USCIS will send the petitioner an email/notification.

That's good:). We just have to wait until we receive the email from USCIS or you can manually check your case status online using your receipt number.  https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

I can’t see NOA2 being required at interview stage. It’s not on the London US Embassy’s document checklist.. or is it Embassy specific?

You don't need the NOA2 for the interview.

Here's a checklist for the UK

hmmm. My understanding is a copy is needed for the beneficiary.

thanks for the link. UK embassy seems to not require it.

Hold onto it for AOS though, I would imagine.

Don't forget there is a month between November and January!!!  Early June filers should see something by the end on November.  The rest of June looks like December and January.  Once Thanksgiving hits the States, things tend to slow down a little.
