Hi everyone,

I relocated to the US with my then-fiance in 2014 on a K-1 fiance visa. We got married and I received my 2 years green card. We have some issue this year, and I moved out for 5 months. We were still in touch, and went on vacation together, but just needed some space and to reevaluate our relationship - I wanted to move back to where we used to live in Israel. We also saw a therapist during that time, though she was not very helpful. We are now back together and back to living together.

On the I-751, there is a section asking if we ever lived somewhere else. I will mention that we used to live in NY before moving to MA, but should I also mention that I lived somewhere else for a little? How should I approach that. Our relationship is stronger now, but I am not sure how to demonstrate that.

Thanks for any suggestion you may have!

Hi Ziskayt

Thanks for posting this and I am happy to hear you are back together.  My husband and I are in a similar situation, as we separated and lived apart for a few months but are now fully reconciled and looking forward to a long and happy marriage!  I am about to submit our removal of conditions documents and was planning to also provide a written statement signed by my husband and I to explain our situation and account for the different addresses.

It would be great to hear suggestions from other VJers to know how others have (successfully) handled this in their documents.

Thanks for taking the time to answer, and congratulations! :)

It does not seem that too many people are in the same situation and can help though... I assume that the worst that can happen is an interview, and I assume we would be able to explain the situation in detail.

How much detail will you be providing in your application?(we can continue by PM if you prefer).
