I think binder clips is what they ask for, I did mine with what they requested in the instructions

The letter states that in order to process the application, petition, or request, USCIS must capture biometrics. Does this mean the AOS was approved and all USCIS is waiting for is the fingerprints? If I was missing any information, I would of received a RFE by this point correct?

I got it also yesterday with appointment for 06/26/17

Hello everyone, my husband just checked his account and they cashed the check for I-485, does it mean that our application was accepted? We still didn't get any e-mail or text :huh: so anxious!!!

USCIS will cash your check whether or not your I-485 was accepted. You can still have an RFE or RFIE. If you turned in all initial evidence you should be fine.

Hi, thank you for your response. This is actually my second attempt, the first time I sent the application they didn't cash the check and sent me the package back about a week after they got it because I used a outdated form of the I-130, they sent me everything, including the check.

Now I don't know what to think, because a bunch of people say that they send e-mail and text before caching the check and they didn't send me anything! :huh:

Try not to worry too much, this whole process can get the most in us trust me. If you sent the current application and you sent everything asked in the instructions you shouldnt have any problem.

Thank you dear...it's been a long journey for me and my, now, husband after over 5 years of relationship (most of it over the internet)...I see that you're from Mexico, thats actually where we meet in person for the first time in 2012, that's when we actually realized that we belong to each other. :wub:

From what I've been seeing on the forums, it's usually a one to two weeks process. My husbands student OPT card expires June 29th. Does anyone know if he is able to work while he waits for his new card?

A little update... Received the e-notification last night, this morning checks were cashed. 

 

New timeline:

 

Package sent- May 30th

Package received Chicago Lockbox- June 2nd

Confirmation received- June 20th

Checks cashed- June 20th

 

Now waiting for I-797 in the mail.
