Hey Gabi! We discovered too that my husband’spresence was unknown as well. We actually found out that the agency he went trough for the job doesn’t hire those who aren’t yet permanent residence in fear they will need sponsorship. I didn’t find this out directly though the agency but someone else advised this of this.

How many days does it take to get the EAD card in mail? I got my approval letter last Monday (16) which stated I'll be getting my card in a separate mail with an approval date of 11th. My online status actually remained the same "case was received" and did not change until 18th saying the case was approved.

I tried to sign up online for informed delivery but it could not verify my identity so I didn't bother after. Thanks though.

Thanks for taking your time responding to my question. I am in West Palm jurisdiction (Palm Beach Garden) and as you can see in my timeline I have been waiting close to 7 months since starting this process. Since my status changed to "Ready to schedule for appointment" roughly 4 months have lapsed. My wife processed her naturalization in this same exact office and it took her only 4 months. This made to be believe that West Palm office is on the speedier side. Oh boy, was I wrong! lol.

From your post I can assume that your filing date is 3 months behind. I am an April filler. Just sneaking around to find West Palmers, lol.

Please keep me posted and I will do the same.

Hi shushulsan,

I'm a Tampa filer, me and Gabi filed one day apart I've been stuck at case ready to be scheduled for an Interview since Aug 3rd with no movement.

Don't worry you are still in good hands! As you can see I am stuck in that situation since June 7th; Almost 2 months longer than you have. Considering you are British and I am Persian things should be monumentally easier for you when it comes to AOS. Relax and give it another 2 months. From what I have seen in these forums regarding UK citizens, it is safe to assume that path ahead is not very tumultuous for you.

Good luck and please keep us (me, lol) posted.

Hi there, your wife is very lucky, my very good friend filed for naturalization also in West Palm Beach and she had to wait for nearly 9 months, I just went to her Oath Ceremony last week. I think it vary from case to case but in the bright side, your case was ready to be scheduled for interview roughly 3 months after your application, mine is still on "Case was received" 4 months and a half later. -_-

It's going to happen sooner than later.

Good luck!

PS: We used to live in Juno Beach and PBG was like our backyard, my husband and I love the area.

Thanks for the word of encouragement. I must agree with your notion of "case by case" and add to it that Nationality is also very important specially in the age of Trump.

Online status not showing the "ready to schedule" can actually mean good thing. Sometimes people without that statement go directly to appointment in a way shorter time frame.

My best wishes for you as well.
