Hi everyone, I fist mailed my package May 26th, they got it by May 30th but I ended up getting it back on June 7th...It was a silly mistake, I used an outdated version of I-130 :jest:...the package said it was mailed back 2 days after they got it June 1st...I spent the weekend making sure that everything was okay and mailed it again last monday 12th and they have got it June 14th...now its just a matter of time :whistle:.

I wish the best of lucky to everyone and I'll update as it go.

Hey everyone, I got my biometric appointment letter in the mail today!!!

 

Appointment on 06/26/17.

 

The letter states that in order to process the application, petition, or request, USCIS must capture biometrics. Does this mean the AOS was approved and all USCIS is waiting for is the fingerprints? If I was missing any information, I would of received a RFE by this point correct?

Yay! Congratulations! I'm so anxious to get ours but I'm so glad to see you and a couple of people move along with their applications! 

 

I haven't encountered a lot of people  who get RFEs after biometrics so let's hope for the best!

Oh gosh! I hope everyone's AOS process goes smoothly without any RFE. I cant imagine receiving one, keeping fingers crossed! I think we all waited long enough! :)

I am waiting for RFIE for I-693.  So maybe USCIS will send it before my biometrics appointment?

They have not notified me about not submitting the completed I-693 with my AOS package.  I am just assuming they will send me an RFIE.   It was a fault on my part not having it done ASAP after our wedding.  There was a delay with Civil Surgeon I went to.  It was completed after I sent my package.

It took me a month to complete my I-693! I've read in other threads that USCIS either requests you to send them or to just bring them to the interview.

Yeah, I have read that part from USCIS website.  So I'm just waiting for that RFIE for I-693. Hoping not from any other document/form. *fingers crossed* ;)

In our case it basically will be 1 month between sending the package and having Biometrics done.
I will not attempt to go before the appointment.
Hope this timeline help others.
